Our physical therapists never stop learning
All of our clinicians are dedicated to lifelong learning and professional development. Each physical therapist at Ivy Rehab is a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with multiple clinical affiliations. Every clinician is required to attain 25 contact hours of continuing education per year, significantly more than the minimum requirement of each state we serve.
Ivy University is a free series of courses offered to team members who want to move into leadership positions or are facing a strategic business challenge. Ivy University participants may be administrative or clinical, understanding that this program will be a challenging environment for all involved. Team members participating in Ivy University will explore changes in the healthcare environment in order to understand all aspects of business operations in the physical therapy industry.
Clinical Education Placements
Training the next generation of clinicians is very important to the therapists at Ivy Rehab. We are proud to affiliate with 27 different academic institutions in 9 different states to offer exciting and challenging clinical experiences to students from across the country. Many of our clinicians have become APTA credentialed clinical instructors and a few have received the advanced certification as well.
My CI is a remarkable therapist and I could not be more thankful for the opportunities I had at Ivy.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the environment was really conducive to learning.
This clinical allowed me to see surgeries, have my own case load, and even gave me an inside look into the management aspect of physical therapy.
The environment allowed for personal and mental growth, caring and passion.
It was evident that the patients really appreciated the team and the care they received at the clinic.
I learned more than I ever thought I would in 8 weeks.
The entire team was incredibly supportive, easy to work with, and gave me words of advice I will carry with me through the future.
Residency at Arcadia University
Ivy Rehab has partnered with Arcadia University to provide the area's only APTA-supported Orthopedic Residency Program. This program allows residents to enhance their professional development and advance their orthopedic knowledge and clinical skills through a formal mentorship program under the guidance of Board Certified Orthopedic Specialists (OCS). The Ivy Rehab residents also have the benefit of taking classes and collaborating with other residents through Arcadia University. The goal of the residency program is to achieve the OCS certification while focusing on elevating the effectiveness and efficiency of care for all patients.
