About Us

We go above and beyond when it comes to the treatment of our young patients. Our goal is to make their experience as close to “playtime” as possible. Our specially-trained pediatric therapists work one-on-one with our young patients to help them, encourage progress, and form lasting bonds. In addition, we work closely with physicians, parents, caregivers, and teachers with a collaborative approach to care to facilitate great clinical and functional outcomes. Our therapists work closely with each patient to create the best, individualized recovery plan. We are dedicated to helping children reach their full potential, faster!

We just had our first appointment for OT. Our 9-year-old was dragging her feet going in—everything was going to be “boring” and “not fun,” especially on a Saturday. Well, Julia turned all that around! When our daughter came out the door an hour later, she was grinning and laughing, told us how much fun she had, and asked why it’s only every other week. Before we even got in the car, she was informing us that she loved Julia as much as she loves her favorite teachers at school.We all can’t wait to go back!!

My daughter and I absolutely love Children’s Therapy Center. Sam S, her physical therapist, is absolutely amazing. She is so knowledgeable in my daughters condition and comes up with personalized treatment plans based on her personality and interests. She loves my daughter so much. We feel loved, supported and welcomed. They coach me on different skills to support development. The front desk is so helpful. They remember us and always greet us with a warm smile.I highly recommend!

I take my son to Children's Therapy Center for speech and we love it. He is excited to go to each appointment and the therapists are wonderful. He shows progress after each appointment and the therapists update me and communicate with each other to ensure his sessions are consistent. The reception team is also amazing, they are responsive, patient and properly address any concerns I have.

The Children’s Therapy Center of Sterling goes above and beyond for my child. My child receives speech therapy, occupational therapy and feeding therapy here. They are so accommodating. For example, my child has a hard time separating from me in the building, so they have made it possible for his sessions to be outdoors as much as possible, as the outdoors regulates him. Since they recommended this approach, there have been no more tears and my son has made such incredible progress. I’m somebody who has never left my child with a babysitter before, but I feel beyond comfortable with each and every therapist at The Children’s Therapy Center of Sterling for the 30-90 minutes that my son is with them. The waiting room is comfortable, and the staff at the front desk are incredibly helpful and friendly. I’m here 2-3 times a week and genuinely look forward to coming here! It’s a great experience every time. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

I would highly recommend the children’s therapy center. I have two kids that go ther for PT and OT. We have been going for years. I cannot recommend one therapist to you because each of them is excellent. They are so kind, compassionate, and listen to me when I talk. I love how they care about each child like he/she was their own. My one child hated going to therapy before we came here and displayed magnificent behaviors especially around fine motor skills because he hated it. Therapists at the children’s therapy center somehow transformed his entire outlook. He runs into the center and is SO excited to have sessions three to four days a week. That is a testament to the skills, knowledge and personality of the whole staff. We cannot thank this center enough for all they have done for my children!!

The therapists (OT and PT) are very knowledgeable and able to focus my 5 year old with some physical and emotional developmental needs while remaining calm and warm. I usually have to fight with him to go places, but he enjoys going to CTC and always comes out excited and with a big smile. Thank you all so much for caring for Casey and helping us work through some of our challenges.

Everyone here is stellar. Our son has been a patient here for 5 1/2 years. He currently sees both Sams for PT - each our awesome! I must add that all things run the best with Tameka at the front desk. 🤗

Great and friendly staff. I take my son to this center for both OT & PT. The therapists (Jenny, Rebecca and Rachel/trainee) are amazing. They understand my son challenges and try to build a solid therapy plan to address all my concerns. The ladies at the front are friendly and try scheduling appointments to accommodate parents crazy schedule as best as they can. The only complaint I have is that I wish if they can pencil you down for a fix appointment/date during the week. Instead, you have to constantly book your appointments (up to 4 weeks in advance). And sometimes, you end up not able to book with a therapist if her schedule is booked. I don't like the fact that my son has to miss his therapy session in certain weeks.

My kids love it here, even the one that hates medical appointments! All the therapists have had great suggestions for things we can do at home to reinforce what they learn in their sessions. I haven't had problems with any staff member or billing.As mentioned in another review, my kids do not see the same therapists at every appointment. However, I think this has helped improve their flexibility. Different therapists also have different activities they like to incorporate into sessions which then leads to more suggestions of things you can do at home. It makes scheduling easier, too.

My daughter has hit all of her major milestones at The Children's Therapy Center. After months of PT as a baby, it's where she learned to crawl, and where she took her very steps. As a toddler in OT, it's where she learned how to ride a bike. The progress she has made here is astounding - I don't want to imagine where would be without CTC. The therapists are knowledgeable, kind, and motivating. I recommend it to anyone whose child needs therapy.

Absolutely the best OT (Kathryn Sawruk) and PT (Brittany Wiles) ever! And we've been around the block. These two (2) therapists are amazing for our daughter with a global development delay. They truly care and really root for our daughter each and every week.

We could not be more happy with the services my daughter receives here. With covid, this is the only indoor building we are comfortable with 5 year old attending outside our home. CTC is clean and organized and emphasize Covid safety protocols. My daughter is making excellent progress with the occupational therapy she is receiving to improve her executive functioning, attention span, fine motor skills, sequencing as well as building core strength to help with her coordination and handwriting. We know our daughter is loved by her OT and that she is in a safe and challenging environment.

It’s one of the best OT facilities in the area. Kathryn and Rebeca are incredible. Our Son Veer always have a great time and improved a lot on his fine motor and gross motor skills. Also, his sensitivity to water sports, walking on sand etc. is greatly reduced. Kathryn always have innovative ways to get things done! Even with virtual sessions, Veer made a lot of progress with Kathryn. Thank you Kathryn and Rebeca!

I can not say enough good things about CTC. I have been taking my globally delayed son there since 2016, its where he took his first unassisted steps. Even though there have been turnovers in providers, everyone is wonderful. Patient, kind, supportive and this may years later my son is always excited to go :-)

We absolutely LOVE our CTC family!!! We found them a little over 4 years ago and have not left! The therapists and staff are amazing, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and compassionate. They’re always willing to discuss your child’s needs, make recommendations, and celebrate with you in their successes. You won't get this level care anywhere else! Highly Recommend!

We've been with CTC Sterling for 8 years. Every therapist we've worked with has been incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and encouraging. The front office has always been extremely helpful and kind. And the billing department has always been extremely accurate, despite the confusion of insurance billing, vouchers, and private pay. We HIGHLY recommend CTC Sterling for anyone who has a child with any needs...they are exceptional! We have absolutely nothing negative to say about them.

Staff are caring, knowledgeable, and see themselves as part of your child's team. They are typically generous with their time and work hard to help your child succeed. I've had good experiences with billing and learned to book multiple appointments ahead of time because it's a popular facility.

I had an excellent experience at Children's Therapy Center. My daughter was gross-motor delayed and did not roll over or walk before 12 months. I found the front office staff and the therapists highly professional and welcoming. My therapists initial evaluation was very thorough, and I learned a great deal about my daughter's abilities and how to help her at home between therapy sessions. We ended therapy after a year, when my daughter was freely walking and jumping and running around!
