Where We’re Located

We are located in Virginia Beach, VA. Our location is in the Great Neck area in the Hilltop Shopping Center next to Baker’s Crust.  We love being close to our patients!

We go above and beyond when it comes to the treatment of our young patients. Our goal is to make their experience as close to “playtime” as possible. Our specially-trained pediatric therapists work one-on-one with our young patients to help them, encourage progress, and form lasting bonds. In addition, we work closely with physicians, parents, caregivers, and teachers with a collaborative approach to care to facilitate great clinical and functional outcomes. My daughter was having social issues in school but we couldn’t figure out why. At the suggestion of her school counselor, we called Ivy Rehab for Kids and spoke with Ms. Stephanie. From that very first call we knew that Ivy Rehab was the right place for us. Ms. Stephanie listened as I explained the issues we’d been facing and brought us in for an evaluation. From the evaluation Ms. Stephanie was able to figure out that a medical issue my daughter had as an infant had limited her development of certain skills, making some basic tasks harder for her which then affected her confidence and caused my daughter to be very self-conscious. For the next 5 months, Ms. Stephanie worked with my daughter to develop the skills and my daughters confidence. My daughter is no longer having any social issues at school and is able to perform tasks with much less effort allowing her to complete work faster. We are so grateful to Ivy Rehab for Kids and Ms. Stephanie for helping my daughter shine.

My autistic son (who also has a sensory processing disorder and lags in speech due to tongue tie) has been with them for just a few months and already they have helped tremendously! OT, speech, PT, all fantastic. Kristen at the front desk is so helpful as well.

My daughter has been coming to the Laskin location since 2019 and we absolutely love it. They were accommodating when I had to cancel appointments(in advance due to vacations), if I was running a few minutes late or needed new referrals put in by her doctor and they open early at 7:30 AM so my time off work was minimal. The staff is caring and friendly. We tried a few therapies in the area and my child grew and learned the most here. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for us.

Both of our children have received occupational therapy with Ms. Caton ( ages 1.5 and 5.5). She is so warm and friendly to the kids. She adapts quickly to their changing needs. She explains everything thoroughly to us. She has realistic expectations and goals. Both of our kids light up when they see her and are excited to go to therapy. Five Stars for sure!

My daughter has been going to Southeastern Therapy for Kids for Speech for about a year now, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about their professionalism and caring attitudes towards my child. They are incredibly patient, and more than willing to go above and beyond to help with anything we need.

My daughter recently started going to Southeastern Therapy for Occupational therapy. I am so glad we made the choice to go there. After her first visit, my daughter that is normally nervous in new situations, was happy and giggling. Her OT therapist made sure that my daughter had fun and still was receiving the services she needs. Her therapist made sure to ask me if I had any questions or concerns, and encouraged my participation during her session. Overall, couldn't ask for a better therapist to help my daughter. She made sure I was comfortable and more importantly my daughter was.I absolutely love the ease with scheduling my daughter with Southeastern Therapy. The hours are broad enough that she doesn't have to miss school and is still able to accommodate her other therapies.
