Everyone is very nice and kind. Chris my physical therapist is very nice also.
I have used Back in Action for 2 different issues now and have had a great experience each time. Juli at the front desk is always friendly and welcoming and David is very knowledgeable. He was able to get to the root of my back injury and develop a program that helped relieve the pain and spasms, strengthen my back and surrounding muscles and also help create muscle memory and body awareness to help protect my back from injury in the future. He was able to perform dry needling after I had a little set back and that was amazing! I have been able to get back to doing the activities I love and I am very grateful. I am a big proponent of physical therapy rather than just taking pain medicines, as movement is so important for good health.
Excellent, Chris does a great job.
Back in Action really helped me get better and I had such much help from David and the other therapists. I felt that I was encouraged and kept up the work while I was not at the clinic. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help to improve.
Great experience with Back in Action, Chris is an excellent therapist. You get one on one attention here which is very helpful to the healing process.
Great experience, personal feel, friendly staff. David, Physical Therapist is very comprehensive in analysis and treatments. He really cares for the patient. Highly recommend this location!
These folks really know how to put you on the path of recovery. get you back in action. Great PTs who are excellent at what they do. You can't go wrong here
Great PT
The therapist at Back in Action was able to quickly identify my problems and gave me a set of simple exercises that helped right away. He has been able to push through years of immobility in an extremely short time. I regret not going sooner!
Very professional and knowledgeable!
I had a wonderful experience with this practice - the PT was so gentle and wonderful. I will come back here if I need help in the future.
James Is awesome and so is the rest of the staff, I recommend this place to everyone I know that needs any type of PT treatment.
The staff at Back in action was able to help me get insurance authorization when others couldn't or wouldn't. They are welcoming and very professional.
I'd like to acknowledge David Mills for his work with me after a shoulder injury last summer. He was thorough in his evaluation of pain, strength, and mobility, and worked with me to get back to everyday function as well as playing recreational tennis again safely and comfortably. I'm back to see him now for a troubling hamstring. I always feel supported there, and encouraged that I can improve my physical condition to continue enjoying the activities I love.
Amazing place! They did a great job rehabbing my rotator cuff issue. I highly recommend them.
Excellent way to visualize and complete and record my therapy sessions!
I’ve been dealing with severe tailbone pain for several years and had seen 6 or 7 different doctors and therapists with no relief when I finally found Back in Action. The therapists there were welcoming and knowledgeable and Hannah worked so hard finding many different strategies until she finally found the root of my issue and created a treatment plan. I can finally sit for long periods of time without crippling pain! She is so gifted, kind, thoughtful and creative and I’m so glad to have found her!
Hannah Kirkman is a miracle worker! I currently am in my third trimester of my pregnancy and developed leg and sciatica pain. Within several appointments Hannah was able to make me pain free. I am now stronger and more flexible because of her expertise. I always look forward to my appointments with Hannah, she has an amazing ability to personaly connect and relax you. A huge thankyou to Back in Action and Hannah for making this pregnancy a better pain-free experience!
Today was my last appointment with Hannah, and it's definitely bittersweet for me. She has been so wonderfully patient, kind, and encouraging in my postural restoration journey.I first visited BIA Apex to address concerns I've had with my posture. I've dealt with posture issues for most of my adult life, but Hannah helped me make so much more progress than I've ever had before. She's helped me become equipped to identify and address concerns with my body and to enjoy exercise again by being able to do it safely. If I could hire Hannah as a personal trainer, I would. I had a lot of fun picking her brain about muscles, nerves, and the body as a whole while she taught and guided me through new exercises to challenge and strengthen me.Julie, who works reception, is also very hardworking, patient, and kind. She helps give BIA Apex its friendly and welcoming atmosphere along with the rest of the staff.I can't recommend BIA Apex enough. I genuinely can't think of a single complaint against them. I've had so much fun learning and growing there, and I'm very thankful that I got to work with them. They care about their patients as people.-Andrew Brooks
I recently went to Hannah for help with an injured knee. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. She helped me get back on the trail and I'm running pain-free again. I HIGHLY recommend Hannah if you need physical therapy!
Mary Brian is the best! She helped with PGP (pelvic girdle pain) when I was pregnant with my third child. Her magic hands made my pregnancy much more tolerable, and her personality made her an instant friend. The facility is very clean and they do a great job with spacing between patients. I have been to other physical therapists before, and they couldn't even compare to the level of care I received from Mary Brian.
Hannah started working with a patient with a long history of surgeries, and a longer history of fears and gaps in her education about what she could and could not do to strengthen her core and improve her agility. At the end of the course of therapy, I feel like a new person and am clear about how to strengthen my body while protecting it. Hannah, thank you for giving me knowledge, being a cheerleader when I needed it, and teaching me about "less/slow/consistent can be better than fast and furious. I feel I've been given a chance at being fit again. Go TEAM HANNAH!!!
Mary Brian is so generous with her knowledge and time. Yes, she absolutely helped me address my hip/lower back pain, but even if I came in with a random shoulder complaint, she would give me some exercises, tips, and education about that area as well. The attention she pays to the form of exercises means the exercises you do are actually working what they're supposed to work and you actually start to feel better. I'll go to her for everything!
I started working with Hannah Kirkman recently and she is AWESOME! She's very easy to talk to and fun to work with. I think it's really important to be able to connect well with your therapist and Hannah and I hit it off right out of the gate! She's very knowledgeable and explains everything we're doing clearly so I always know what's going on. Definitely recommend!
The exercises that Mary Brian taught me back in 2018 are still helping me today. Thanks!
Been going to this establishment for years! Staff is very professional and helpful. David Mills has been working with me for at least 5+ years. I have been suffering from severe chronic pain since 2005. He is a very thorough and knowledgeable physical therapist who also is awesome in the area of dry needling. Keep up the great work and I would highly recommend him if you need PT.Thanks,Tom M
I highly recommend David Mills. He helped me after my shoulder surgery. However I would see him for any PT need. He is hands down the best PT person I have ever worked with.
Hannah is the best ! She worked on me and my wife for shoulder ,back and leg issues. It has helped both of us tremendously . Their office is brand new and is very elegant . Always ensured to follow covid guidelines which made us feel comfortable . I would highly recommend it if you need physical therapy.
I started working with David Mills last year prior to COVID. David is a professional. I am always amazed at his knowledge and how he is able to translate that knowledge so that I can understand what is going on with my body. He listens, asks questions, puts himself in my shoes and truly cares about his patients. When COVID hit, I was very impressed with the quick adjustments the office made to protect me as a patient and their staff. As a tennis pro, I am often asked to give a recommendation for PT. I have, without any hesitation recommended David and Back in Action PT. I can’t tell you how many students I have sent David’s way and he has always been prompt at getting them in and treated them with the same care I received. The staff at Back in Action are a family. They know me and they care. I highly recommend going to see David Mills, you will be thankful you did.
I have been seeing Mary Brian for several months now and have been making great progress with pelvic floor issues. I had seen another physical therapist at another place for a few months before with no real progress, then found Back in Action and had hoped I would get to see Mary based on other reviews. Mary is very knowledgeable and happy to see me at our appointments. She really cares about her patients and is quick to email me back with any questions I have. I'm very happy to have found Mary and excited for the progress that we've made!
Working with Hannah Kirkman has been great. I've been to Physical Therapists in the past to help recover from injuries, but what's different about this experience is that she takes the time to educate about the body mechanics surrounding the issue so you can take these lessons with you and continue work on strength and control in the long term.
After two emergency spinal surgeries I knew I needed help to get back the strength and flexibility I deserved. MB was the perfect person for the job! Her non-judgemental, compassionate, experienced... but down to earth approach, coupled with her inspiring energy to push me when I needed it was the perfect combination to get me back into action again. MB gave me back the the mobility I missed and brought me back to dog walks and gardening again! I am forever grateful for her role in getting me back into good health and helping me to do the work I could never have accomplished on my own. She is a game changer and I will be forever grateful!
I highly recommend David Mills at Back in Action. I work in physical therapy myself and I always go to David for excellent, one on one care for my own needs. I am guaranteed to have improved function and a therapist who listens to me and works hard to help me reach my goals. The staff at BIA are very professional and helpful with scheduling, insurance issues and authorization as well. There are a lot of places to go to for PT in this area but you will not be disappointed with the highly qualified care and attention you receive at BIA.
Back in Action was a lifesaver for me in many ways. For TMJ, Abdonminal issues and most recently a knee surgery. David took the time to understand my goals, guided me in letting my knee heel and challenged me when I needed to. Can't say enough great things about Back in Action and would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to recover with people who care about you.
I was a patient for a long period of time . Mainly I was treated by David. He is a wonderful therapist! He treated me for low back pain and serious TMJ. The jaw exercises and "Dry Needling worked wonders"! I am almost completely free of jaw pain. If pain returns, I use the pressure points and exercises that David taught me to relieve it quickly. Back pain is partly old age, but I miss the relief I experienced during David's care. Since we moved, I have not found another practice, staffed by such competent therapists. The entire group is very good, especially David.
I highly recommend Mary Brian! I have visited a fair number of physical therapists, and she is by far the most knowledgeable one I've worked with.
I came to Mary Brian after months and months of pain. I thought I would never get better. But, after a few months of PT with her, here I am able to get back to normal life. I can't believe it! She was amazing and knew exactly how to help. Highly recommend!!!!
I highly recommend Mary and BIA! A few months ago when I was 8 months pregnant, I could barely walk most days from pelvic separation. She helped me learn simple changes and exercises I could do to get me through my last few weeks of pregnancy. I would like to go back to her for pelvic floor therapy soon. She was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable with her passion for her practice and energetic personality!
I was referred to David Mills for physical therapy by someone I trust and respect and I can attest that David is knowledgeable, experienced, and provides excellent care. He listens, pays attention to what is working or not working, and puts together a treatment plan with adjustments as needed to achieve the goals. I definitely recommend David Mills and Back in Action Physical Therapy.
