What we treat

Down below on this page, you’ll find the full list of what we treat and the programs we offer. A high percentage of injuries and pain syndromes result from weakness and/or tightness in neighboring regions of the musculoskeletal system. Our therapists evaluate possible compensatory patterns in addition to the area of pain or loss of function. This thorough examination allows us to better identify and eliminate all underlying causes so patients achieve lasting results. We also focus on educating you, so that you’re empowered to take control of their injury, grow stronger than ever, and prevent recurrences.

We understand the impact that pain and loss of function can have on the lives of our patients. Our entire staff, from the front desk to our clinical team, provides a compassionate and motivational environment dedicated to healing. We ensure we are meeting each patient’s unique needs so their experience is both enjoyable and rewarding. We have extensive experience treating a variety of conditions including shoulder injuries and surgeries, knee injuries and reconstructions/replacements, spinal conditions and surgeries, sports injuries and muscle traumas, chronic and acute pain syndromes, neck conditions and surgeries, pre and post-surgical cases, geriatric conditions, work-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, lower back pain, general strains and sprains, joint replacement recovery, neurological conditions, vestibular and balance conditions, auto accidents, hand and wrist injuries, and much more!

Mark and his staff are amazing. They are very accommodating and professional. I have gotten further in my few months with Mark than I have in the past 20 years of PT. He makes sure your course of action is individualized to your needs. Highly recommend them.
Attentive personalized care. Highly recommend!
Everyone at Ivy is SO nice. I've been to this location as well as the Warwick location. Rob in EG is awesome and so kind.
I had a great experience working with Mark! He is a skilled PT who is extremely knowledgable, flexible, and compassionate. Mark and the front desk staff (Lyn and Danielle) were very welcoming from the start. They do a wonderful job creating an inviting and comfortable (and kid-friendly) environment. I would highly recommend Mark and his team!
Mark and his team, Robbie, Danielle, and Lyn over at Ivy Rehab and Physical Therapy in North Kingstown have made a positive impact on my ability to move around faster and better manage stress and pain in my knees due to arthritis and in my shoulder due to a fall. I’m losing weight because I am more active and look forward to being able to jog again someday in the not too distant future. I’m 65 years old and I was able to keep up with my son and his family as we walked around the entire Roger Williams Park to view the Christmas lights! They were so happy for me! They used to have to slow down and wait for me whenever we went walking at various places. I’m so grateful for the commitment Ivy Rehab has in helping me reach positive ,challenging, yet realistic goals for mobility and pain management. Who knows how far I can go?! Thank you so very much, Mark, and your dynamic team!
Mark is fantastic. He worked with my entire family and supported all of our individual needs. All of the folks at Ivy, make you feel welcome and a part of the team.
Amazing! I’m no spring chicken. I am closer to 100 then I am to the teenage years. I’ve been through many physical therapies in my life, different places different therapist. This place is different. Different in a positive, amazingly positive direction. This is a very good thing. My back. One of the things I always look for. I’ve been kind of conditioned to notice if the employees seem to be happy or stressed out the place I’m going to physical therapy is a very personal hands-on and I want to feel comfortable with the environment, staff, and particularly the therapist that you touching me directing me for exercises. This is the first physical therapy half century I’ve I look forward to coming back. Certainly the people are nice, but Marc, my therapist is brilliant again I’m saying this with our decades of experience and many many operations, and and injuries and ailments. He is not technically good, but if something gives me pain, he’ll say let me see if I can get you an alternative exercise, he often presents multiple options for the exercise. He gives me. Because sometimes particular exercises are extremely painful and very difficult to work through the pain job my therapist, Mark is a very compassionate person. I’ve learned about myself is that when I am in pain I am fairly sensitive. I don’t do the exercises for two sincerity of the individual who’s helping me they’re just going about it like they’re supposed to be doing it supposed to be here where they really come across as a genuinely caring person and that I can say it’s 100%.Each time I come in the employees seem to be happy not something that really is very difficult to fake overtime. I have noticed that this place that employees are genuinely smiling and happy and are always offering to help.As you can tell, I genuinely thrilled with this facility and the individuals working here, kind, sincere, and happy. What more can a person want? This is a wonderful investment in my health, and a recovery from ongoing surgeries, and injuries I have sustained.I highly recommend them without a second thought great place great people
In the past I’ve gone to many Physical Therapists for mostly running related injuries. I was always stuck with an intern that was just learning & the PT was unimpressive. Unfortunately I broke my neck (C2) mountain biking, so I was in desperate search of PT that would help me get back to my normal very active self. Mark is the owner & my physical therapist, owner operated is so hard to find in PT, his knowledge & experience shows. I am 6 weeks into PT & way ahead of where I thought I’d be. I am running, lifting weights & feel like myself again! I’ve observed Robbie and he equally qualified, you can’t go wrong with either physical therapists. Lyn & Danielle are great & will find appointments that fit your schedule. My Dr. is from University Ortho, so of course there PT department called me assuming I’d be using them, I’m so glad I chose Ivy Rehab PT!
Everyone is super informative and helpful! It’s a great atmosphere to come too! They make you feel comfortable and always answer all your questions!
I’m a current patient of Marks. He is extremely knowledgeable and always explains things so I can understand them. I’ve noticed significant progress already. I’m happy to be a patient at such a welcoming environment with friendly faces walking in!
Dr. Mark does a great job.
Really nice people here. the receptionist are really nice I would recommend coming to this physical therapy place.
Mark and Robbie are such kind and patient PTs. They make every effort to make you feel comfortable and are very assuring. Lyn and Danielle at the front desk welcome you with big smiles:) would highly recommend this place to anyone
A very pleasant atmosphere and Rob provides excellent care. Very clear instructions for all exercises and explanations of what effects you will encounter.
Making progress with my osteoarthritis of the knee. After six weeks of twice-weekly visits and home exercises to strengthen underused muscles, I can now do those movements without pain. The arthritis, itself, isn’t fixable but this is a successful workaround. I’m better!
I had an excellent experience with Ivy-North Kingstown. Robbie is very knowledgeable, diligent, helpful and extremely pleasant to work with. I really appreciated his proactive approach and willingness to provide new ideas to incorporate into my daily routine. I would highly recommend Ivy-North Kingstown!
Very clean, organized and state of the art facility. The entire staff is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, kind and caring about the individual patient. I feel certain I will overcome my health issues with the expertise, guidance and support of my P.T. Rob and the team here.
Mark is great physical therapist. Kind, professional and very helpful.
The staff, equipment , cleanliness of this place is great! Thank you Ivy Rehab for all you do!
When I started PT with Mark (and Nicole) I was 5 days out of full knee replacement. I was in pain, in tears, and could barely walk. Thanks to their expertise and patience I was able to return to work 2 weeks earlier than predicted and now I am pain free. I transferred to Mark’s brand new facility recently and am loving the new space along with all of his new equipment. Robbie is a great addition to his team as well. I highly recommend Ivy Rehab!
Welcoming place. Love the staff always feel accomplished leaving.
Great staff and Mark is always super helpful.
Mark was great with 11 year old daughter and the new facility is great! I will be back again!
Without hesitation, the BEST physical therapy in RI and southern MA. My opinion based on 25 years of injury, pain, pre/post orthopedic surgery rehab and five star expert feedback and restorative results. My background: 40 years of public service as a healthcare professional in RI, MA, Naval healthcare around the world with injuries from baseball, hockey, biking, endurance competition with underlying rheumatoid arthritis and an unending need to overachieve. If you love life without painful functional movement and want hope, light at the tunnel’s end: reliable results, Elite/Ivy physical therapy is where the Best treatment exists. KEYWORDs: accessible, affordable, best practice, reliability, recovery, pain reduction, patient centered dedication, honest sincere care.
