Where We’re Located

We are located in Virginia Beach, VA in the Princess Anne area. Our location is on Independence Boulevard in the Princess Anne Marketplace in front of Target. We love being close to our patients!

Our specially-trained pediatric therapists work one-on-one with our young patients to help them, encourage progress, and form lasting bonds. In addition, we work closely with physicians, parents, caregivers, and teachers with a collaborative approach to care to facilitate great clinical and functional outcomes. Our children receive physical therapy with Jalina at Ivy Rehab. It didn't take Jalina sharing her background and personal experience for us to gather her passion through her efforts and guidance. Not only is she very knowledgeable about the therapy she provides, she is very communicative with us on what to work on, as well as the progress our child is making. Jalina has gone above and beyond with trying to support our children with needs that go beyond her therapy room. She is a wonderful fit for a therapist working with children and is highly recommended for individuals with special needs. I'm incredibly thankful that our family was connected to Jalina for services and would encourage anyone looking for a physical therapy for their child, to look into having her as their therapist.

We have had the pleasure of working with Jalina for my son’s chronic foot pain for the last 5 months. He has improved immensely. He is very comfortable with Jalina. Not only have his PT needs improved but his communication about how he is feeling as well. We travel 30 min past our closest Ivy Kids Rehab(not due to any issues, just availability) to see her and it is 100% worth it. Jalina is patient, kind, knowledgeable and competent. The front desk staff are also all very helpful and pleasant.

My 15 year old son has been thriving in PT under the care and watchful eye of Ms. Jalina. My son started work working with Jalina several months after he had hip reconstruction surgery. Jalina is so patient and not only helping him reach his PT goals to regain his mobility, but also to help him work through his anxiety of learning to trust that leg again. She has truly been heaven sent!

My youngest has been seeing Ms. Jalina since I wanna say the end of January maybe beginning of Feb and I’ve really seen a lot of improvements in his walking. The communication is amazing and you can really tell they all love their jobs. To know every kids name that walks through the door really shows they care.

We LOVE this location, Lauren has been with my boys for about 3 years now and the boys absolutely love her and love coming to therapy! I recommend her to anyone that mentions they have a speech evaluation for their kiddo ! Everyone at this location is absolutely amazing and they make you feel like family so much so the boys call this their other house !!

My almost 5 yr old son has been seeing Ms. Lauren for Speech therapy since 11/2020. I wish google would let me share videos so you can see the progress, but I'll have to settle for words. My son was diagnosed with suspected Apraxia of Speech around February of 2020. When looking for a provider, I specifically wanted someone trained in DTTC, Prompt, and the Kauffman method as each had varying levels of success and I wanted a provider that could flex based on my child's needs. Ms. Lauren took my 2.5 year old from only speaking in open vowel sounds, heavily dependent on sign language, and less than 20% intelligible without context clues, to a downgraded diagnosis of severe phonological delay and almost peer level in 2.5 years. He is now 80% intelligible to unfamiliar listeners. She got him caught up with skills he didn't learn under 2.5, and has maintained new skills that build off those as he perfects them. She is funny, engaging, patient, relatable, informative, and knowledgeable and I would recommend her with complete confidence to anyone starting or continuing through the speech therapy journey. I am so proud of the progress her and my son have made, and continue to make, on a weekly basis.
