What we treat

Down below on this page, you’ll find the full list of what we treat and programs we offer. A high percentage of injuries and pain syndromes result from weakness and/or tightness in neighboring regions of the musculoskeletal system. Our therapists evaluate possible compensatory patterns in addition to the area of pain or loss of function. This thorough examination allows us to better identify and eliminate all underlying causes so patients achieve lasting results. We also focus on educating you, so that you’re empowered to take control of their injury, grow stronger than ever, and prevent recurrences.

We understand the impact that pain and loss of function can have on the lives of our patients. Our entire staff, from the front desk to our clinical team, provides a compassionate and motivational environment dedicated to healing. We ensure we are meeting each patient’s unique needs so their experience is both enjoyable and rewarding. We have extensive experience treating a variety of conditions including: shoulder injuries and surgeries, knee injuries and reconstructions/replacements, spinal conditions and surgeries, sports injuries and muscle traumas, chronic and acute pain syndromes, neck conditions and surgeries, pre and post-surgical cases, geriatric conditions, work-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, lower back pain, general strains and sprains, joint replacement recovery, neurological conditions, vestibular and balance conditions, auto accidents, hand and wrist injuries, and much more!

Excellent place! Highly recommend it to anyone. Aubrey is so helpful and pleasant.
Top tier PT place. Recommend! Aubrey is especially the greatest
Aubrey Long was so helpful during my time here! A wonderful clinic
Wonderful experience, everyone is so nice :)
Very nice people and effective physical therapy.
The staff is great and they make you feel at home and glad you came. Most importantly the work that they do to get you back going again is the best that I've over the past last thirty plus years ive needed PT due to injuries I suffered during college.
This facility has very friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff that I highly recommend and would not hesitate use in the future.
My experience that the staff are kind and nice and has very good customer service. I appreciate everything they have done for me. I would like to give a special shout out to Aubrey Karen and Brian and the rest of the staff. Thank you for your time and being patient with me and maybe someday y'all can see me walking down the catwalk haha 😆😂😆😂
I have been coming here for 15 years plus for my knee, shoulder and my back. Sue is my PT and she is extremely good. Their whole team works together. They make you feel like your family. I tell everyone I know to go here if they have to go for PT.
Sue Fisher and the rest of the staff including Brian, Aubrey, Elizabeth, Karen, and Emily always make me feel welcome and genuinely interested in improving my issues. In addition to being a great listener, Sue also explains and demonstrates why I need to do specific exercises to strengthen my neck muscles.I spent over a year at other facilities that wanted to use pills to ease the pain instead of addressing the cause of the neck pain and headaches.Sue Fisher is awesome.
I hurt my knee in the winter, in freezing rain. After surgery in April, I picked Ivy Rehab based on reviews. I got lucky - what a wonderful team! For me, it was primarily, Emily, Susan, and Aubrey. But each of the others were equally good.Over the course of months, my exercises were adjusted to accommodate progress, and each focused on different aspects of the movements, tendons, and muscle groups. What I loved - having done physical therapy (PT) before at other places - was the easygoing and friendly-but-professional staff. Each were clearly skilled, they consulted with each other from time to time, there was humor and laughter, it was the most enjoyable and successful PT experience ever. Let’s hope I don’t hurt myself again, but I do, I will be back there.
Your best chance to go again!!
Best therapists! They’ve successfully treated me for a back injury, shoulder impingement and now post foot surgery. I’ve regained full capability after each series of sessions.
The caring and expertise of their therapists is unmatched in my experience which goes back 50+ years.
Brian really helped out on my first visit I feel more confident about recovering to full strength
I HI AVEvisited this facility many times since coming down with Guillain Barre; They have helped me maintain what little strength I had left.
I thought my back pain could not be resolved but after a few visits at Ivy Physical Therapy with Brian it is so much better already. Great place, I would highly recommend it!
Professional, yet friendly staff. 2nd time coming here. Have worked with all the therapists at some point and they’re all great. Hope not to, however, will always come here if needed. My physician said to relay they were doing an excellent job. Primarily work with Brian this time, many thanks to him.
Knowledgeable and pleasant staff. Highly recommended in my opinion.
Susan, Emily, Brian, kaylin and Karen are great!
My pain is resolving. The therapist here a great. I received 2 recommendations for Ivy from trusted professionals really glad I followed their advise.
Susan Fischer was amazing. She always is able to fix me when I see her. I would recommend her to anyone who is having a physical problem.
Professional and friendly
This is the second time I have gone to Ivy Rehab in Milford. Physical therapy isn't something anyone looks forward to but all of the people there are so friendly and caring that I don't dread having to go. I am also very impressed by the knowledge they have and their ability to explain your condition, progress & reasons for the therapy you're receiving. Hopefully this is the last time I need PT, but if it isn't there is no question on where I would go.
Very Friendly.Easy to make session appointments.
Ivy, is a hands on PT rehab center. Each session involves an evaluation of my progress and personal sessions with my Tech., Susan. Over the years I have gone to Ivy several times. They are the only one I would consider.
I'm only half way through my PT prescription but I've already felt my back pain subsiding. I would definitely use Ivy Rehab again.
Referred by Dr. Andrew Larson from HFMC Milford for therapy with Susan, PT. She was very thorough with her medical history questionnaire and explained what she saw as the area of concern. My "homework" is completely manageable and I feel one step closer to recovery after every session. We continue to work together to hopefully bring me to a life of less pain.
A very professional staff in a friendly atmosphere-the best.
So many good things to say! What a great experience I’ve had. The staff is top notch! All friendly and personable they care about their patients well-being and take special consideration to everyones needs and limitations. You always feel welcome in their facility which makes going there so nice!! My shoulder injury is we’ll on it’s way to recovery and I couldn’t be happier!! I’d highly recommend going there for any of your physical therapy needs!!
I’ve been coming here for my lower back, and my experience has been great, from the friendly front desk to the insightful, thorough, and professional care from Brad. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.
Ivy Rehabilitation is helping me to recover from knee surgery. They do great work, awesome staff, hardworking and really care that you get better.
Was impressed with the professionalism & the ability to answer my concerns. Look forward to my follow-up sessions.
Wonderful people and service. I highly recommend IVY REHAB.
Great staff very very good at what they do i highly recommend them
Back for the hip! Thank you Susan for all that you do 😊
My name is Margaret thompson. I’ve received consistently excellent treatment from each P.T., Brad, Emily, Karen, who in turn received excellent supervision from Director Susan. Receptionist kaylynn is most helpful, always friendly &’is excellent in her role. This P.T. Center stands out as the BEST in competency, support, encouragement and keeping me informed of my changing status , teaching each new excercise clearly and specific. The facility is spotlessly clean & all staff are welcoming and non-judgmental in their attitudes, positives in their approach/support.. this system is outstanding.
Karen Hatch was my physical therapist I had for back issues. I had serious pain when I started therapy and a month later I am pain free. Karen is an awesome therapist. She knew exactly what to do every time I came in with a discomfort. She was very pleasant and I felt so comfortable with her. I really can't sing her praises enough.
Caring compassionate people. Truly dedicated!!
Ivy Rehab has the best staff ever! They individualize your plan and increase or decrease as needed! All of the therapist work together whenever needed.
Karen Hatch at Ivy Rehab in Milford helped my husband Dave who is 85yrs old and suffers from stiffness of Parkinson’s Disease. She is motivational and professional and kind. She gets a Gold Star from us.Cathie
Susan and the rest of the Ivy Milford team are all rockstars! They work great as a team, and give patients the quality time everyone deserves to help patients get back to a pain free life!
Ivy Rehab is outstanding! The entire staff is very friendly and professional, highly knowledgeable, and willing to try different approaches that suit you best for rehabbing your injury. I enjoy an active lifestyle competing in mountain bike races and half and full Ironman triathlons. Susan Fisher is hands down the best! She has helped me through multiple injuries over the past 12 years. It's a huge sense of relief to know that your injuries can be healed the right way and you can continue to do the things you love to do. Thank you Susan and the Ivy Team!
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, in the end?!), I recently found myself at Ivy for two different injuries. The entire staff from the front desk, to the PT assistants, and of course the physical therapists, is best in class! The patience they showed, while I was maybe a tad impatient, while rehabbing a chronic injury was much needed. As someone who is used to being active, I appreciated their honesty regarding which activities I should abstain from while recovering. More importantly, I appreciated their willingness to work with me on a plan on what activities/exercises I could still enjoy in the meantime!
All of the staff is so nice and helpful. Both therapists I’ve worked with have been extremely knowledgeable. When I went in I my range of motion was extremely low and pain level was extremely high. They worked patiently with me adding more exercises as I healed until my range of motion is better than it’s been since before surgery and my pain is nearly gone! I am truly amazed with the progress I’ve made in just 5 weeks thanks to Susan and Karen!
After a hip labral tear repair rehab was part of the required next step. I had heard wonderful things about Susan Fisher, the head PT at Ivy so of course, searched her out. Thank goodness I did as she was THE BEST PT I have ever had (and there's been several between both shoulder and hip issues!). VERY attentive to what my body was needing at the beginning of the process, through the 6 weeks, as well as "graduating". I recommend her often to my clients and friends if they're in need of a professional!
