Where We’re Located

We are located in 2 miles north of downtown Milford, in Highland, MI in Oakland County. Our location is across from Tuffy by Milford High School.  We love being close to our patients!

We go above and beyond when it comes to the treatment of our young patients. Our goal is to make their experience as close to “playtime” as possible. Our specially-trained pediatric therapists work one-on-one with our young patients to help them, encourage progress, and form lasting bonds. In addition, we work closely with physicians, parents, caregivers, and teachers with a collaborative approach to care to facilitate great clinical and functional outcomes. Our therapists work closely with each patient to create the best, individualized recovery plan.  We are dedicated to helping children reach their full potential, faster!

We aplied to Ivyrehab for Kids and were very pleased! There is a great team of professionals working there! We worked with Ms. Salma Peeran, now we are working with Deblina Righter and we see progress in our child! And the situation continues to improve! My son is 9 and absolutely has flourished here with doing speech therapy. He has been going since he was just over 2 and Alisha has been a huge blessing. When he first started many people had a hard time understanding him and made so many compliments on how much his speech has improved. I've always told people how much I love it here!

My daughter is 3 years old and speaks a lot but had trouble pronouncing clearly for others to understand. She would get very frustrated at times and have bad tantrums. Since working with Ms. Lynn for just over a month, she’s been speaking more clearly and has greatly blossomed with and extended vocabulary and her overall attitude has brightened now that she can communicate better and feels heard. The staff is kind and excellent at scheduling and sending reminders. My daughter looks forward to her speech therapy all week, couldn’t recommend them more!

My daughter has been seeing Ms. Lynn for speech therapy at Kids in Motion, now Ivy Rehab for Kids, since she was two years old. At our last wellness check, our pediatrician was extremely impressed with her speech, stating that she couldn't believe how much she had improved over the last year. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Ms. Lynn, and can't imagine where we would be today if we hadn't started therapy when we did.Ms. Lynn is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares for her clients. She makes sure to keep my daughter engaged and focused at every visit. I highly recommend Kids in Motion! It was about 2 years ago that I sat in a free seminar hosted by Kids in Motion and connected with Ms. Lynn. She could probably tell I was a nervous mom, so she took the time to talk to me after the session about my 2-and-a-half-year boy who, at that point, was only saying about 2 words. My son was enrolled at another therapy center, but we were not seeing any progress and the therapist he was working with didn’t want to have the tough conversations about his possible diagnosis. After the session I connected with Lynn and she offered to squeeze my son in for an evaluation into her already busy schedule. I could have cried – having someone hear you and want to help was exactly what our family needed. Fast forward two years, my son has made significant progress. His expressive language is close to age appropriate and, when he does struggle, he has the tools communicate what he needs. I cannot thank Ms. Lynn enough for all she’s done for my son and our family. I will be forever grateful for that free seminar and Ms. Lynn. 😊

We started going to kids in motion due to my sons speech delay and I can’t believe how far he’s come. Ms Lynn is amazing! Not only extremely knowledgeable and persistent in results, she’s kind and so good with kids. My son is kind of shy and doesn’t warm up to people that quick and I truly believe she’s helped him with that too. After every session, ms Lynn takes the time to go over what went on it the session and gives you tips and tricks to do things at home to reinforce the progress made. We’ve been blessed finding her and we would recommend ANYONE that is having problems with their child to seek her out and get things moving. Thanks Ms Lynn!

My daughter has been at Kids in Motion for almost three years now and we LOVE them! Kindest, gentlest and most effective therapists we have worked with! We see Kris Yono for speech and Amber M for OT. My daughter has a diagnosis that is not too common and Kris and Amber have both taken the time to educate themselves about the implications of her diagnosis, they go above and beyond. My daughter truly looks forward to her Speech and OT sessions because they make it fun for her while helping her meet her goals! On top of amazing therapists the office staff goes above and beyond to help me navigate the ever changing insurance policies! Cannot recommend Kids in Motion enough.
