Where We’re Located

We are located in Blaine, MN in Anoka County. Our location is in the same strip office as the Post Office, behind the Super Target near Bricks. We love being close to our patients!

I am so appreciative to the wonderful team at Sora in Blaine!! My son has made such amazing strides with his speech since attending. Miss Jac and Miss Molly are absolutely wonderful! They are thoughtful, knowledgeable and have such great instincts when it came to working with my son, meeting him right where he’s at. In addition to that, the insight and support they offered me as Mom, was super significant!! I was able to learn what they are doing with my son in therapy, why and how I can apply it through play at home. HUGE!! My son sees three different therapists here Morgan, Hannah and Molly. I've seen a tremendous difference in his speech, and I know he will continue to thrive with their assistance. Molly is great with him. Morgan is great with the self care help. Hannah helping him with physical development. He's much more confident in these three areas thanks to their guidance.

We have been attending Sora for Speech therapy for a little over a year and did a few weeks of OT, too. When we started my 2 year old was functionally non-speaking, she used less than 5 words. Sora has made a night and day difference in our every day life, my kiddo is chatting it up! She’s made incredible progress, way way faster than even the SLP expected! They use a text message system; amazing when you have 3 little kids that like to scream as soon as you start a phone call. Their Covid practices are logical and simple to follow with telehealth when you need it. (Side note: I did not believe that a 2 year old would do telehealth, but it plays out more like an iPad game with a therapist guiding them. It’s awesome, my daughter loves it, but I do feel like she gets more out of being in person, but when one of us isn’t feeling well or there’s inclimate weather it’s an awesome option!)

my daughter did in-person and distance OT with Lexi at Blaine and she has made amazing improvements. Lexi did a great job with my daughter. she always used creative techniques and exercises that my daughter enjoyed and had fun with. Lexi also gave timely updates and guidance. I recently took my child in for an evaluation for OT. The eval was scheduled within a week of my first phone call with them. The report was completed promptly and the therapist that met with us did such a wonderful job of describing my child in the report. She did a great job of guiding me during the evaluation. She asked great questions and really listened to me. She made my concerns feel validated and valued and I can’t wait for him to get started in therapy there.

Totally recommend this location! Staff are friendly and want to show results! My daughter comes here twice a week for the past 1.5 years, I see a drastic difference in her speech and we were able to meet all the goal areas. I am so thankful for their service and commitment to the children they help daily. Every single therapist shows exceptional attention to the children! Great great team!

My son was referred to Sora Pediatrics by his pediatrician for OT and multiple other services at other places. He wasn't even 2 yet when he started in January 2020, and in 3 months, we can't believe how far he has come. We started off with him having the hardest time going twice a week, and I never thought it would get easier, but his therapist, Alexi has been nothing short of amazing, patient, and so extremely friendly. She found a way with our son that I never thought anyone could. In no time, he was crying to go to Alexi. He has had made such big strides in a short time, and we know his sessions have a lot to do with it. We feel like Alexi is part of our family, and we couldn't be more appreciative and grateful for the success we see in our son's journey. Besides having an incredible therapist that we trust with our son, Sora Pediatrics have been so accommodating and easy to work with. We haven't come across anyone who wasn't friendly from the first evaluation, to scheduling, and other evaluations. Sora Pediatric therapy in Blaine has improved our quality of life, significantly, in just 3 months. The entire staff is incredible and beautifully compassionate. Two of my kids go there weekly and they honestly can’t wait for the days where they have therapy. My four year old gets sad when she doesn’t get to go play lol. I can not recommend them highly enough!

Both my children go to Sora Pediatric Therapy in Blaine. All of their therapists are amazing. My kids have learned skills I never thought would be possible. My kids love their therapy days and look forward to going ever time. Their therapists are creative and fun. Plus they know their stuff. They helped uncover my son's speech issue when no one else could figure it out other than to say it is not normal. I would recommend Sora to anyone.

The amazing and creative staff at Sora have been wonderful for two of my children who received therapies there. We had switched to Sora from another clinic and from day 1, I was impressed with how knowledgeable the staff were and could explain to me in great detail what needs of my children were, and how the exercises and activities they'd do would target those needs. Every staff we worked with was warm, welcoming, and incredibly skilled at working with young children. We were also given several ideas and strategies to use at home. We have enjoyed our time there very much and I often refer others to Sora.

My 7 year old son would not be where he is today without the therapy he's received at Family Speech and Therapy Services (SORA). His needs are very significant and our OT, Jessica N., has made a remarkable world of difference in his life. From building his strength/core and teaching him basic life/coping and self-regulatory skills, to working with him and teaching us strategies which have helped him be able to tolerate difficult medical appointments (which he has many), etc. I could go on and on. As a parent of a child with complex needs Jessica has been a key person "in our village" who truly finds joy in helping him gain more skills.

We have been so happy with Family Speech. I would recommend taking your child to anyone looking for speech or occupational therapy. We have been seeing Kelly for a few months and she is amazing. I can see the compassion and dedication she has for our son. We will be seeing Jessica soon for OT. We couldn’t decide on Fraser or Family speech. The winning factor was how attentive and excited Will was with Kelly. They don’t just help our kids they also help us as parents. So happy knowing we made the right decision.
