I have used the services of Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy (originally Excel PT) over the last five years for several differentissues. My Rehabilitation Orthopedics physician sent me to them after knee problems. My assigned therapist was Jason Bink.Next, Jason worked with me before and after required shoulder surgery. The most recently the issue was nerve damage and a pretty lengthy cycle of physical therapy. There is excellent team work if your regular therapist is unavailable for your schedule. You receive clear instructions for home exercise and any equipment that may be needed beyond what they supply. The facility is always well supplied and spotless. In summary, if you do the work as a patient you get great results.

The staff at Ivy Rehab (Philadelphia Art Museum) is excellent, gracious, thoughtful, patient, and generous with time and support. Jason Blink and John Luca are wonderful. Besides being good people, they are remarkable therapists. I highly recommend the facility and people there.

I went to Excel - Art Museum for lingering runner's knee issues. My physical therapist, MaryJane, was a knowledgeable, positive, and energetic physical therapist. She knew when to push and when to ease off on exercises, and always made pleasant conversation that made the time pass quickly. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. Payments were straight-forward and easy. I would recommend Excel to anyone in need of PT.

This long rehab for shoulder repair has put me in Caroline Mancuso's excellent care for months. She's the perfect mixof pushing me physically to the next level while also keeping the spirits up, Caroline understands how it works together. The general atmosphere of everyone who works here is very friendly and the space itself has a beautiful view of trees and the sky.

I arrived at Excel as a quivering mass of pain. After a few weeks of Mary Jane's excellent therapy, I am back to my yoga routine and extended walks without knee and back pain. I can't say enough good things about her outstanding skills, but also her positive, motivating, and engaging personality that made each session a joy. Thank you Mary Jane!

I went to PT for nerve damage with my shoulder, arm and hand and I got a lot out of working with Mary Jane! She really knows her stuff and is quick to share information when I had questions and/or concerns. In addition, her upbeat disposition and energetic nature make her a pleasure to be around.

I’ve used Excel/Ivy/Art Museum PT twice in the past for chronic balance/fall problems. I’m there now for my Experience #3, this time for specific injuries, not general chronic issues. Every single one of my PTherapists has been excellent. I mean, Excellent. That definitely includes my new DPTherapist, MJ. m.

I’ve been a Physical therapist for last 42 years and have received treatment with Carolyn for a bulging disc, which rendered me bedridden. Within a month Carolyn had me off my walker onto a cane and then without any assistive device. The following month, I began to run/ walk with Carolyns encouragement and incredible manual skills and individualized programI was so impressed by my PT program, that I referred my husband to Excel. My husband, also had a wonderful experience, with his PT, Victoria.Thank you, both Carolyn and Victoria, as well as, the entire staff at Excel for improving our physical well being

Physical therapy that really works. I am not skeptical of physical therapy per se, but over the years I have worked with practitioners of varying skill. My previous experience really was eclipsed by the excellent experiences I have had at Excel Physical Therapy, Art Museum Area location. I have worked primarily with two therapists, and only because the first one left the practice. I have found that EV, the therapist who is currently helping me, and has been since early 2020, is an excellent analyst with regard to the particularities of whatever is going on with one or another part of the body. The therapists really listen to patients and work in tandem with them to achieve results. First time I have been effectively encouraged to stick with my plan of [home] care and succeeded in true rehab. Since mid-2019, when I first had an appointment for back issues due to being in a boot for a broken leg, I have been evaluated as well for a couple of other issues related to working at a desk day after day. The space is unusual for a PT space in that it has a ton of sunlight and is very cheerful, and is not cluttered. All the practitioners are really nice and there is a very good vibe about the place. It is clean and they are constantly sanitizing everything. COVID protocols have been in place from very early, and they were attentive to my concerns in Dec'19 and Jan'20 when I started worrying about a possible pandemic; they have not slacked off, which I really appreciate. Office is easy to communicate with and once you figure out how to find the suite within the building it is easy. In fairness, the electronic/IT stuff where patients have to fill in diagnostic questionnaires is absolutely awful, but that is a 0.000001 negative point, compared to all the rest being super positive. I would not say that I am a super positive person, either.

One of the best physical therapy/medical experiences I've had, and I've had a lot. Great knowledgeable care in incredibly friendly and welcoming environment, felt like everyone there working was a friend from start to finish. Mary Jane was a phenomenal therapist, would highly recommend this location. 10/10

This place is great! I used to go to Strive, but I gave Excel a shot since they are closer to me. I felt like I got way more one-on-one attention from my PT, Maryjane, and she definitely helped me get what I needed from physical therapy. No trouble from the billing department either, which I feel like always happens with my weird insurance. They just knew how to handle my insurance. Definitely recommend.

I had an excellent experience with Excel PT. I have tried to rehab my chronic knee issues with other therapists with little success and was considering surgery, but Caroline Mancuso has turned things around. She diagnosed long-term weaknesses in areas away from the knee, and helped me to stretch and strength those muscle groups as well as the knee. I'm an active male in my early thirties and I'm moving better than I have in six or seven years. I recommend Excel--and Caroline in particular--with pleasure!

For 8.5 weeks, I was under the care of Excel Physical Therapy. My therapist, Dr. Caroline Manusco, went the whole ten yards from getting my arm back to where it was prior to my shoulder dislocation/hairline fracture of the humerus. At first, I had days where it was a challenge. As time went on, it got better. She worked with me by starting out slow. At times, she pushed me to go for more. It was an experience I will never forget.

I have had a fantastic experience at the Excel PT Art Museum clinic! I worked with my Physical Therapist Susannah Rogers for 8 weeks who has helped me manage and reduce my cervical and thoracic spine pain. She customized my plan just for me and has been extremely attentive, understanding and knowledgeable. She is passionate about helping her patients feel better and it helped motivate me to take care of my body. My many thanks to Susannah and the Excel Team for your outstanding care!

I could not have been happier with my experience at Excel Physical Therapy - Art Museum. My PT Caroline was absolutely fantastic, and got me back to full, pain free activity in a matter of weeks. She was very patient and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions, and providing me with a plan to stay active and healthy. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and fun, and the experience was great.

I've been in PT multiple times over the years and had mixed results. I've worked with 2 therapists here for 2 different injuries/surgery. Jason is hands- down the best PT I've ever had. He's hands-on, he listens and offers a wealth of knowledge & experience. He really works with me to recover after major surgery.

I worked with Randi Dahms at Excel after developing a cycling-related bilateral achilles tendinopathy. It's an annoying injury and I felt pretty lost when it came to dealing with it. Randi is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to her patients, and she understood my situation well. My sessions with her were immensely helpful, both physically and mentally. I made demonstrable progress in terms of reducing pain and building strength, and I also learned a ton about the biomechanics of cycling that will help me moving forward. Most importantly, I feel in control of things again, rather than feeling like my injury is controlling me. And I feel better than ever on the bike. Excel is a great place with great people who enjoy their work and want to see you succeed, whatever that might mean for you. I'll miss going there!
19:52 25 May 21
I worked with Randi Dahms over several sessions on a knee injury of mine. She was very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. When I was out of town for several weeks, she designed a program for me that was adapted for my limited access to equipment. She was kind enough to check in with me while I was away and made sure I was progressing. I would absolutely work with her again.
19:33 14 May 21
Randi at Excel is terrific. She worked with me pre-ACL surgery and challenged me to do exercises even I didn’t think I could do, and trained me to trust myself. As a result, post-surgery, I’m way ahead of where I would have been without her help and guidance. And now, just one session post-surgery with Randi, I left the appointment in much less pain than before my appointment because of her. Highly recommend Randi! Allison the receptionist is also awesome and extremely helpful.
12:55 12 May 21
I suffered a herniated disc last fall, and for months after I still found it uncomfortable to complete simple tasks like walking the dog or driving to work. I met with Randi for a consultation and she diagnosed the problem area quickly and effectively. After just over 2 months, Randi and the rest of the Excel team has gotten me back to virtually 100%. I no longer worry day to day about whether something that I need to do will cause severe pain, and now have the tools to manage the pain if it were to come back. Randi is very thorough and informative, not to mention fun to be around! I would highly recommend anyone to visit Excel with their injury, no matter the severity. Huge thanks to everyone at Excel, I really appreciate all of your hard work!

Wanted to leave a follow up review for my treatment from Randi Dahms. I originally saw her at the society hill location for a climbing related elbow injury. After working with Randi for a few weeks and continuing her rehab plan afterwards I was able to set a new personal best in climbing this past weekend! Would 5/5 recommend Randi for any athletic or climbing related injury. Her knowledge and sporting understanding helped me get back where I needed to be. Sad she has moved location but will be following up with her in the future if I need more care.

Ross and the rest of the team have magic hands! They are very personable and make everyone feel comfortable as soon as they walk in the door. It's like walking into a friend's home. They listen to your concerns and work with you to relieve and pain you may be experiencing. Thank you all for everything!

This was my second lifetime visit to PT and was not a total believer. I am now if you have the right physical therapist and organization. I was assigned to Ross Nachbi. He was well educated, explained the process and listened to my issues (also a great person). I had a foot issue from my many 4+ mile daily walks. The reality is I had a hip and foot issue exasperated by the wrong type sneakers for my feet. Ross explained how it is all connected and the pain I experienced during my walks was eliminate along with the foot swelling. Ross also provided at home exercises and you tube links for hip support. I am back to my daily 16 minute mile walks and also using the elliptical for 30 minutes a day without issues. COVID survival with a smile and my back no longer bothers me on long distance driving. Thanks also to the front desk staff who were efficient and friendly.

I dealt with chronic backpain for years, and I finally decided to do something about it. I've read good reviews about Art Museum area Excel therapy, so I made an appointment and was assigned to Bre (Briana Patton). It sounds crazy, but I immediately started to feel an improvement after the first visit. At each appointment, she massaged my problem area (she is very strong!) and showed me exercises that built my core and eased my pain. Before PT, I had to strategically bend down to pick up an object on the floor to protect my back, but now I don't even think about it when i bend down and pick up an object. I also was so afraid to cough or sneeze before PT because it would hurt my back so much, but I can now cough or sneeze without worry.Big bonus is that Bre is such a delightful person. She is so down-to-earth, positive and open, so you will find yourself opening up to her about personal things that you didn't plan on talking about lol!I highly recommend going to Excel for anyone who has dealt with pain but hesitated to start PT for whatever reason. It improved my life dramatically. Thank you, Bre!

I highly recommend Dr. Ross Nachbi. The man doesn’t just treat symptoms. He treats root causes. He cares about outcomes—-not only in service of his professional commitment, but from a genuine and authentic consideration of his clients. Not only was he present, knowledgeable, and prepared for every session, but he provided me with a breadth of tools and strategies to address the issues that caused my initial injury and prepared me to safe guard against ending up with the same issue in the future. He knows biomechanics, he knows his clients, and he knows that people need a PT they can trust to listen, to make a plan, and to care. He began every session with a touchbase and assessment to ensure he was fully aware of how my injury was faring that day. He’s the best. I couldn’t recommend him more!I have begun recommending EXCEL physical therapy to all of my family and friends who may be in need of a physical therapist. Your team is excellent at what you do.

I have worked with this Excel several times over the past few years, mostly with Hannah Hardin. She is a delight to work with, and the functioning of my newly replaced knee is much better than the surgeon thought was possible. I give Hannah the credit for this.

I came to Excel PT with a severe rhomboid muscle strain and 12 sessions later, I am as good as new :) The guys are very experienced, and their approach is really professional. My PT Evan Vasilauskas is very knowledgable, very experienced, and he knows what he's doing. He did an outstanding job in my case, and I highly recommend him and Excel Physical Therapy Art Museum Area!

Plenty of time and space and modalities and the best staff you could hope for .... IF YOUR physical condition has room for improvement in strength, flexibility (Range of Motion), posture, and alike - GO HERE.

I have worked with Jason Bink on and off for a couple of years to recover and maintain strength in my neck and shoulder after a pinched nerve caused by foraminal stenosis. Although my problem originates with a degenerative condition and all of my regular activities can aggravate it, Jason has managed to help me return to all of them (tennis, swimming, yoga) with relatively minimal discomfort. He is patient, creative, and tenacious, and the whole clinic reflects his relentlessly positive attitude. This is my third experience with physical therapy and, while they've all been helpful, this experience has been the best by far.

I came into Excel for an ocular-vestibular concussion after 2 months of disorienting symptoms that left my balance and basic cognitive skills impaired. I was referred to Briana Patton by Dr. Russo who absolutely raved about her excellence in vestibular cases.I look forward to my appointments because Briana is such an understanding and uplifting part of my week! She listens to patients' symptoms each session and changes the routine to best accommodate, creating a very dynamic and stimulating experience. While I do my session, I am in an environment with people dealing with a wide range of injuries doing all types of exercises. I would recommend the Art Museum Excel to anyone needing physical therapy!
23:58 02 Jan 20
Recommend highly. Competent therapist worked wonders on my neck and shoulders.
22:55 09 Dec 19
I would recommend Excel PT for anyone! During my initial evaluation appointment, I was tearful about my limitations at the time, and my PT was very understanding and supportive. Over the last few weeks, I've had the chance to work with 2 therapists at this location and both have been extremely knowledgeable, hardworking, and supportive to help me reach my goals. They have truly helped me get back to my life and the things that are most important to me.
01:27 02 Dec 19
Very professional staff & my physical therapist, Jason Bink is highly qualified to treat my diagnosis, back ailment or spinal stenosis.Bright & open floor plan (lots of windows) facility creates a pleasant atmosphere. Would recommended their offices as competent & that they seem to be "up" on the latest best practices.

The people at Excel Physical Therapy have made my experience incredibly enjoyable and personal! They inspire me with confidence and have made my recovery go smoothly! I’m actually more than a week ahead of schedule for ACL reconstruction post-op!

This place is great!! The staff is very nice and knowledgeable, and have done wonders for my injury. I couldn't ask for better results.

Had a great experience working with Evan, this is my second time in 2 years at this office for two unrelated injuries. As a Marine I rely on my legs and ability to walk hike and run more than others. Evan was able to get me back to 100% after a nasty break and I went through and passed my 6 week training course that was only 5 months after my surgery. The second time I had an overuse injury that was refusing to get better even after my own icing and stretching routines. Evan worked with me again and in two months I was back on the road training for my next stage in my career. Much thanks to the team there, they are highly professional and friendly and most importantly they know what they are doing. 5/5 would recommend

I had heard good things about Excel from my sister-in-law and a neighbor. I fell in February and had a four hour surgery for a upper shoulder fracture. After my two week visit to my surgeon I was given a script for physical therapy. I had no idea what to expect. I was in some pain and was very anxious about this process.Jason and Cortney, PTs were recommended to me but I would of had to wait and I wanted to start this unknown right away! The front desk paperwork process was made easy by the receptionist. As I sat there waiting for my fate I noticed the area was bright with many windows, clean with a pleasant environment of humor and business.Michael Hegarity, PT introduced himself, took all information from me and my doctor’s script and he came up with a plan. He explained the process, the goals and I knew I was in good hands. It’s been a hard but productive 6 weeks. Mike is my coach, my teacher, my cheerleader and always puts my feelings and my welfare first. How has it worked out? Well last week I went to my surgeon. I am right where I should be in my arms mobility and function. All the stretching, exercises and the home plan that mike personalized for me has paid off. I still have work to do but I am confident with Mikes support and my following instructions, new strength building exercises and working at home I will return to my full capabilities.I do not think you can go wrong with any PT employed at excel. They all seem well educated, trained, focused but with humor and there is a good mix of young and not so young clients. Also, very flexible about appointments.Marge.

This team came highly recommended and they exceeded expectations.
17:36 21 Mar 19
I had an amazing experience at Excel Physical Therapy - Art Museum. When I first went to Excel, I was concerned that the issue I had would require medical or surgical therapy. My therapists Evan and Hannah reassured me that we would be able to fix the problem with physical therapy even when I had my doubts. They were both so kind, professional, and inspiring... I'm now happy to say that I am pain free and living my best life! Thank you so much to Evan and Hannah and thank you Excel.

Beautiful facility, excellent care, wonderful staff. I am very happy with my treatment here!
12:09 21 Feb 19
I have been to several physical therapy centers over the years, and this one far exceeds the others by a long shot. The others were fairly impersonal and felt to me like an assembly line, with the therapists treating several patients at once: showing me an exercise for five minutes, then going over to other patients and barely coming back to check on me.Excel Art Museum is completely the opposite. The office is pleasant, cheerful, and very personalized, beginning with the receptionist Sonia, who is extremely professional and efficient. But more important, she excels in matching each patient with the most suitable therapist, and is extremely congenial, compassionate, caring, and accommodating with scheduling. She is a huge asset, and I can't recommend her enough. She plays an essential part in the personalized care and excellence of the center. Now to a crucial component, the therapists: You can't go wrong with any of them here. All are extremely professional, affable, cheerful, and ready to help. They offer highly individualized and state-of-the-art treatment. This staff works nicely as a clearly coherent team. All that said, the most influential and critical element is one's personal therapist, and I won the lottery with mine. Evan is exceptional. I was referred by my doctor for gait, balance and strength deficits following many falls . On our very first encounter, he made me feel at ease, calming me down when I was emotional, sensitively listening to and addressing my concerns and therapeutic needs. He implemented the highest level of expertise and skills possible. I was a needy and challenging patient, and Evan demonstrated much compassion and insight, honing in on the best possible care plan. He devoted exceptional attention and rigorous efforts to providing me with the most effective exercises, streamlined to my particular physical deficits and challenges. I was amazed at his personalized and constant attention, the likes of which I have never seen in any therapy center. He seldom left my side during the entire session, making me feel very safe and attended to. He had the utmost of patience, sensitivity, and empathy for my challenging and demanding ups and downs. His work on my strengthening and balance delivered immediate and discernible progress. This was the polar opposite of the cookie cutter type of practice. Any patient fortunate enough to have Evan as their therapist will surely find much measurable and long lasting improvement in their particular areas of concern. I couldn't recommend Evan any more highly. This is based on his sharp knowledge, expertise, and talented therapy; combined with his above-and-beyond empathy and individualized care.

I have turned to Excel PT in Art Museum when I was referred by my podiatrist for an ankle injury. While it is never nice to have an injury, I am so grateful to this practice because it has opened me up to a much better approach to improving my overall health--balance, flexibility, and energy--as well as addressing the immediate post injury rehabilitation. I can't say enough good things about the practice and their therapists, --Courtney and Caitlin in particular,--as well as their congenial staff. Smart, friendly, and supportive--definitely worth the 5 stars!

I have been going to Excel since August after knee replacement surgery. I walked in with a walker and in one week went to a cane. Two weeks later I was walking with no aid at all. My therapist cares about me and my recovery which makes it more enjoyable to go there 3 times a week.

Physical Therapist Evan is awesome - highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable, and takes a true interest in getting his patients well again. The office staff at the Art Museum Area location at 21st and Hamilton is awesome as well - Sonya is friendly and respectful and understanding. 5 stars.

Excellent experience, each session has been thorough with individual hands on attention to the condition that brought me here initially. I look forward to continue the progress that I am making and will integrate all that I have learned into my daily live. Really a great opportunity giving me an optimistic outlook for the future. Thank you!

Talented physical therapists. This facility has a good professional, yet casual, feel. With all of the nearby options for PT, I’m confident I’m in the best place.

This place is absolutely amazing! Working with Ashley has (almost) cured a 5 year shoulder injury. I'm amazed at her professionalism, knowledge, and compassion. She is a very talented therapist and I recommend her and Excel Physical Therapy to anyone and everyone!

I have been a patient at excel off and on since it opened. I have had sessions with various therapists and always felt that I was treated by a well informed individual. The clinic is run by Jason Bink who has been in charge since day one. Most of my sessions have been with Jason and he is always trying to keep his patients informed of the processes involved in their injuries, surgeries and most importantly their recovery. I feel Excel's approach to healing is awesome, the one on one time is very helpful and definitely appreciated. Tell everyone I know that Excel is the way to go.

I have been to other companies for PT and Excel (art museum) is far superior. Everyone is friendly. Scheduling an appointment is easy. The hours there are quite accommodating. My therapist, Caitlyn, is top notch. She has helped me so much in the past two weeks with my shoulder and cuff problem. I look forward to working with them so I can heal.

Excel therapy is very welcoming and helped me recover from a shoulder injury. I was nervous about going PT thinking that maybe my pain was something that would pass but Pat Filippelli explained to me what was causing my pain and worked through it with me. I highly recommend Pat and the Excel Therapy team!
