We go above and beyond when it comes to the treatment of our young patients. Our goal is to make their experience as close to “playtime” as possible. Our specially-trained pediatric therapists work one-on-one with our young patients to help them, encourage progress, and form lasting bonds. In addition, we work closely with physicians, parents, caregivers, and teachers with a collaborative approach to care to facilitate great clinical and functional outcomes. Our therapists work closely with each patient to create the best, individualized recovery plan.  We are dedicated to helping children reach their full potential, faster!

Positive Steps Therapy provides pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, developmental therapy, feeding therapy, and early intervention services in a caring environment with one-on-one attention. Our licensed therapists are committed to quality care. They attend continuing education courses each year to bring our patients the most current treatment techniques.

We switched from early intervention for our daughter to outpatient services at 18 months and we should have done it long before that! The staff and therapists here are always wonderful, professional, and kind. Our daughter has seen so much progress in the 7 months of coming here and we plan to stay with the practice until she’s discharged from services. I will always recommend them!! We attend the Moon location and she receives physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.

As I write this, Ms. Ally made it accommodating for my son to be seen after I messed up his appointment time and made it so my son could be seen when we came in! All of the therapists are fantastic! We are so fortunate to have these advocates in our son’s life and they have made all the difference in his development since a newborn! Thank you all!

From the first phone call, the staff at Ivy Rehab Coraopolis has gone above and beyond. During a very difficult and confusing time of determining what services my children needed, I was met with empathy, kindness, and flexibility to give my children the best care possible. Between my children we are involved with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Every single staff member I have interacted with has been reassuring, understanding, and knowledgeable. The team approach to therapy allows myself and my children to benefit from a wide range of knowledge and guidance. The communication within the office and with me is top notch and provides a seamless transition between sessions and therapists.Elise, Chelsey, Jenna, and Kylee are our PTs who have given us new exercises to work on with our child without being overwhelming. They have also allowed and encouraged my participation and have made sure I felt comfortable doing the exercises correctly.Alexa our OT has helped us brainstorm new solutions to our feeding problems, coached me in properly feeding my child, and has listened and provided support on difficult days.Erin and Becca have blown me away with the difference I am already seeing in my child's speech. They make him feel comfortable and keep me up to date on his progress and provide coaching for me to help him as well.Allie and Tanya in the front office have quite literally brought me back from my breaking point. Their kindness, understanding, and flexibility will never be forgotten. They validated my concerns, assisted with scheduling needs, provided solutions, and maintained a positive and professional environment to make myself and my children feel so welcomed and supported.Ivy Rehab has the most positive and supportive environment which fosters a welcoming atmosphere for both the children they care for and their families. Detailed information is provided, discussed, and opportunities for questions are always given. Most notably, the environment and attitude of every staff member is positive. Facts are presented in a way that made me reassured and prepared to start therapy and support my children with their support. My daughter just finished physical therapy for torticollis. Everyone we met and worked with was super nice (even if my daughter was mean mugging lol). Always received a reminder of appointments. Staff and therapists were super friendly and engaging. Ally was always upbeat and friendly to us. She made sure we had multiple weeks out scheduled at each visit. The therapists Chelsey, Kylee, Elsie, Jessica and anyone else I missed always were patient and allowed my daughter mommy or daddy breaks when she needed. I highly recommend this office to anyone who needs these services! We will definitely be missing them!

Mia, Alexa and Allie put a smile on our son's face every week. They are professional and personable while also being so helpful. Our son has made huge strides towards his goals. I can’t say enough good things about the moon location. The front desk staff is one of a kind. For parents who are caring for kids with disability or anything for that matter they take the guess work out of scheduling. It’s so comforting to know we share our availability and they give me a print out of all my daughters appointments for the next 6 weeks so we don’t have to go back and forth. They have text reminders which are always amazing if you have multiple kids! Beyond the front desk staff my daughter sees Kiley for PT and Alexa for OT. She loves going, it’s never a fight. She feels so cared for and loved. They are so compassionate and understanding yet find a balance of motivating and pushing her to see what she’s capable of. I would have never guess our experience would be this phenomenal and we’re forever grateful for all their hard work!

My wife and I cannot say more about the wonderful staff at Positive Steps Therapy! They go above and beyond for their patients. Our daughter receives OT, ST, and PT three times a week and we cannot thank their hardworking staff for the strides she is making!!! It’s truly remarkable the impact they make!! My son has been attending OT and PT here for close to a year now. I can’t say enough positive things about everyone here from the front desk receptionists to the therapists.Ally, who works at the front desk, is always so beyond helpful. She goes above and beyond to make sure my son is scheduled out weeks ahead so that we are able to secure time spots that work best for our family.Alexa, Jaclyn, Sheena, and Bri are wonderful occupational therapists. This place is absolutely wonderful. The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. My son loves coming here. My family cannot thank these therapists enough for what they have done. They have given our son a voice. Jess and Chloe are great Speech therapists, and Christine and Brianna are wonderful Occupational tharapists. They love what they do and it completely shows by how they interact with my son and other kids. They truly care about each one of their patients. They take the time to communicate with the parents about the therapy sessions and give you great feedback on what you can do at home to help your child. Ally is wonderful about scheduling the appointments at a time that works best for you and your child. We are so so grateful for Positive Steps!
