Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is now open in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The clinic is conveniently located at 52 Frenchtown Road, next to Planet Fitness. The office is accepting new patients, accepts most insurance plans, and offers convenient hours. With this new facility, Ivy Rehab and Elite Physical Therapy continue to expand their presence with nearly 20 locations in Rhode Island.
Dr. Mark Mahnensmith, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, CIDN, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new North Kingstown facility.
“I am very excited to open a state-of-the-art facility in Washington County, Rhode Island,” said Mark. “With this clinic, we will be able to serve a larger portion of the community where my wife and I are raising our four children.”
Mark has spent his 12 years of physical therapy practice specializing in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. He has served the greater East Greenwich and North Kingstown communities for the last seven years.
Mark has an extensive background in athletics. He was a three-sport athlete and captain of his Football, Swim, and Lacrosse teams in high school. He developed a passion for endurance sports, running, cycling, swimming, and kettlebell training as an adult. His goal with each patient is to form a connection and a lasting relationship. He strives to educate and empower each individual, better understand how their bodies function, maximize their potential, and live life to the full.
His professional interests include sports medicine, rehabilitation of injured runners, and patients with shoulder, neck, and back injuries. Mark also has a passion for the rehabilitation of tactical athletes, including first responders, injured veterans, and injured workers.
