Ivy Rehab HSS Physical Therapy Center of Excellence is now open and serving Wappingers Falls, New York. Our state-of-the-art facility is located at 1485 New York 9D, across the street from Dutchess Stadium. Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and Ivy Rehab have partnered to jointly open these Centers of Excellence, featuring a wide range of equipment and services with highly trained therapists providing world-class care.      

“We are excited to expand our reach by collaboratively bringing clinical excellence in physical therapy further into the Hudson Valley,” JeMe Cioppa-Mosca, Senior Vice President of HSS Rehabilitation and Performance. 

Dr. Frank Umbrino, PT, DPT, SFMA 2, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Wappingers Falls facility.     

“I am beyond excited to begin my career in Wappingers Falls and look forward to providing great physical therapy to everybody in need,” said Frank. “This community holds a special place in my heart, and I am overjoyed to become a part of it.” 

Frank is a hard-working, compassionate physical therapist who strives to deliver the best care to his patients. He has experience working with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, pre-/post-surgical rehab, balance training, and functional movement screenings for all age groups. He stays up to date with current research by taking continuing education courses to provide the best care possible for every patient.  

Frank graduated as the Valedictorian of his Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2020 and then started his career with Ivy Rehab in Kingston, NY. He has shown tremendous growth as a treating clinician and a leader and has now been selected as the Director of the Wappingers Falls clinic.  

Outside of work, Frank enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and playing sports.
