Ivy Rehab for Kids Launches New Pediatric Therapy & ABA Facility in the Princess Anne Area of Virginia Beach, VA

Ivy Rehab for Kids has opened a unique facility in Virginia Beach, VA, which includes two specialized offices catering to pediatric and ABA therapy. These offices, located at 2076 S. Independence Boulevard, offer various services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.  

At each office, a highly skilled therapist collaborates with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs. They work collaboratively with their patients to create comprehensive recovery plans that aim to help them reach their full potential. The Ivy Rehab for Kids team is committed to providing exceptional care to every patient who walks through their doors.   

Ivy Rehab for Kids 

Lauren McGonagle, MS, CCC-SLP, CAS, serves as the Clinic Director and Pediatric Speech Therapist at the kids’ facility in Princess Anne. 

“I am so excited to be expanding pediatric services in my hometown,” said Lauren. “As a speech therapy graduate, I love serving my community and inspiring confidence in children.” 

Lauren is a Virginia Beach local specializing in motor speech disorders and neurological diagnoses. She loves working with the pediatric population and is passionate about instilling confidence in a child’s ability to communicate.  

Lauren is a registered specialist in Childhood Apraxia of Speech and volunteers with the Apraxia Kids organization to provide support resources to parents and families. Lauren brings both enthusiasm and creativity to sessions filled with evidence-based treatment.  

In her free time, Lauren enjoys playing with her French Bulldog, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with her family.

Ivy ABA – Autism Center 

Brittany Testerink, M.A., BCBA, LBA, serves as the Clinic Director and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst at the ABA facility in Princess Anne. 

“I am very excited to open a blended clinic in Virginia Beach to provide ABA alongside Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy,” said Brittany. “I look forward to working collaboratively with other service providers to improve the outcomes of the children we serve.” 

Brittany is a Virginia Beach local passionate about providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with Autism and their families. She enjoys working with kids of all ages and having the opportunity to positively impact the quality of life for children and their families.  

Brittany began her career as a Recreational Therapist for the City of Virginia Beach before getting the opportunity to work at Coastal Behavior Consulting as a Registered Behavior Tech in 2018. Through the years of working with Coastal Behavior Consulting, she transitioned from providing direct care as an RBT to working as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). 

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys working on DIY home projects and spending time with her husband and daughter.
