Ivy Rehab for Kids Opens New Pediatric Therapy & ABA Facility in Canton, MI
Ivy Rehab for Kids is thrilled to introduce its opening of a state-of-the-art facility in Canton, MI. The unique space has two pediatric therapy offices: pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy clinic.
The highly trained team at each office specializes in developing individualized treatment plans customized for each patient’s unique needs. The therapists work closely with each patient to create the best, comprehensive recovery plan and are dedicated to helping patients reach their full potential.
Ivy Rehab for Kids
Kristyn McGowan, MOT, OTR/L, serves as the Clinic Director and Pediatric Occupational Therapist at the kids’ facility in Canton.
“I am thrilled to join the Ivy Rehab for Kids family and look forward to helping children and their families within Wayne County and Canton community reach their greatest potential,” said Kristyn. “We plan to bring high-quality therapy and resources, including OT, PT, ST, and ABA services. I look forward to working alongside our fantastic team of therapists, partnering with local physicians, and families to help their children demonstrate growth and achieve their individualized goals.”
Kristyn is hard-working, driven, patient-centered, and has an energetic personality. She specializes in working with children with feeding difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, and autism spectrum disorder. She has advanced training in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, DIRFloortime Training Program, SOS Approach to Feeding, and the Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist Intensive Training (ASDCS). Her professional interests include early intervention, technology, picky eating, and finding new ways to get children and families to reach their goals.
Outside of work, Kristyn enjoys traveling, family, camping, running, and relaxing with her three dogs.

Elisa Murray, MA, BCBA, LBA, serves as the Clinic Director and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst at the ABA facility in Canton.
“I am very excited to return to, and serve, the metro Detroit area after five years away,” said Elisa. “It is my honor to work alongside wonderful professionals dedicated to the dissemination and provision of quality pediatric therapy. My passion lies in the multidisciplinary pediatric therapy approach, and I look forward to sharing with the community the immense impact this can have on the child’s best outcomes. I am thrilled to get to know and connect with the Canton and Wayne County community!
Elisa’s passion lies in advocacy for access to quality therapeutic services, dissemination of applied behavior analysis, and strong collaboration and inclusivity across disciplines. She has a wide-ranging background of experience with an emphasis on trauma-informed care, collaboration, comorbid diagnoses, and parent education focus.
