Ivy Rehab for Kids Brings Pediatric and ABA Therapy to Taylor, Michigan

Ivy Rehab for Kids has opened a unique facility in Taylor, Michigan, which includes two specialized offices catering to pediatric and ABA therapy. These offices, located at 11488 Telegraph Road offer pediatric physical, occupational, speech, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.   

The team of highly skilled therapists at each office focuses on creating tailored treatment plans that address the unique requirements of each patient. They collaborate closely with patients to design comprehensive recovery plans and are committed to helping them achieve their full potential. 

“I am thrilled to announce the opening of our newest Ivy Rehab for Kids location in Taylor, Michigan,” said Samantha Beard, MOT, OTRL, Regional Director. “Bringing these much-needed services to the Downriver Area has been a goal of mine for years. I can’t wait to serve the communities with a stellar team of clinicians who can offer the highest level of care in pediatrics.” 

Ivy Rehab for Kids 

Madison Parker, OTR/L, serves as the Clinic Director and Pediatric Occupational Therapist at the kids’ facility in Taylor.  

“I am so excited to provide a new therapy option for families in the Downriver area,” said Madison Parker, OTR/L and Clinic Director. “Many children and families could benefit from pediatric occupational, speech, and physical therapy. Working alongside our ABA team will also improve care overall!”  

Madison has a passion for working with children and families to meet their goals and enjoy life. Madison strives to deliver child-centered care that is unique to each patient. She has spent most of her career seeking continued education in feeding, sensory approaches, and relationship-based treatment. 

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Ivy ABA – Autism Center  

Samantha Alvarado, M.A., BCBA, LBA, serves as the Clinic Director and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst at the ABA facility in Taylor.  

“I am excited and humbled to serve the Taylor community,” said Samantha. “We are bringing fun, dedication, and high-quality services your way!” 

Samantha is energetic, creative, and attentive to those around her. She enjoys working with children of all ages to help them understand their environment and meet their needs and wants. She has worked with students as young as two and adults as old as 21.  

Samantha graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in psychology, where she conducted research for multiple behavior teams. She was a member of the Michigan Marching Band and a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She graduated from Ball State University with a MA in Applied Behavior Analysis and conducted research in parent training, coaching classroom staff, and supporting parents through challenging behavior.  

She currently works at Ball State as a research assistant and enjoys researching the areas of PBIS and how to support school staff better. She has also worked in Washington State and Michigan as a Licensed and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
