Dr. Aaron Freeland, PT, DPT, CSCS is serving as the Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Ivy-Charlottesville facility.

“I am extremely excited to be serving the Ivy and Western Albemarle area,” said Aaron. “I have lived and worked in this area for the past 4 years. I am looking forward to growing the relationships I have in this community and developing new ones. My main goal is to provide quality physical therapy care to help the members of my community feel and move their best.”

Aaron attended Husson University in Bangor, Maine where received his B.S. in Kinesiology-Human Movement Science, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Aaron has been living and working in the Charlottesville area since 2017 and enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan from children to older adults. It was also through his education and experience that he further developed his love of sports rehabilitation, working with athletes of all skill levels – high school athletes to professional. His clinical interests include manual therapy, orthopedic injuries, and sports rehabilitation. It is his belief that everyone is an athlete regardless of age or what his or her sport of choice may be.

In his downtime, he enjoys being outdoors, whether it is hiking, playing golf, or playing with his dog Archie. He has a love of travel and exploring new places by immersing himself in local culture through food and activities. Aaron’s favorite part about being a physical therapist is being able to serve the community in which he lives.
