About Lindita Ismaili, PT, DPT, CRGA
Lindita Ismaili, PT, DPT, CRGA, was first introduced to physical therapy after suffering injuries from a major car accident. The intense force of the oncoming car brought chronic pain that, to this day, can only be relieved through the hands-on treatment and muscle strengthening that physical therapy provides. Lindita understands the commitment and time it takes to return from an injury and the great reward of listening to the body’s needs and trusting professionals to heal.
Lindita earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the City University of New York Graduate Center. Before earning her doctorate, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology from the City University of New York, College of Staten Island. She received the New York Physical Therapy Association’s “Brooklyn/Staten Island District Meritorious Student Achievement Award,” and she is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2011.
Lindita prides herself in creating a safe space for folks that identify in the QTPOC and LGBTQIA+ family. Lindita is also a certified running gait analyst (CRGA), providing individualized treatment plans to address a runner’s specific needs for mobility, strength, and technique. She also enjoys rehabbing individuals who wish to return to a particular sport.
