About Lauren Silverman, PT, DPT

Lauren earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University in 2018 after several years working as a professional ballet dancer in New York City. Lauren enjoys helping children and their families reach their functional goals while utilizing fun and engaging play-based treatment strategies. She provides services in the clinic and the Illinois Early Intervention program.   

Lauren has experience treating children from birth to teens and has treated kids with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to developmental delay, torticollis, plagiocephaly/brachycephaly, toe walking, hypotonia, sports-related injuries and other orthopedic conditions, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, prematurity and a variety of genetic conditions and neuromuscular disorders. Lauren is also trained in serial casting for lower limb muscle contractures and is Level 1 certified in Rigo-Concept-BSPTS for treating juvenile and adolescent scoliosis, based on the original Schroth method.
