Troy Bage Joins Ivy Rehab as Chief Operating Officer

Ivy Rehab is excited to announce that Troy Bage has joined our team as Chief Operating Officer! The Ivy Rehab Network has seen steady growth over the past year, beginning 2017 with 46 clinics and with plans to finish the year at 97 clinics. Over the past 12 months, we’ve welcomed numerous new practices and hundreds of new team members to the Ivy Rehab family.

“With this type of growth, we must continue to evolve and add resources that support our culture of Caring, Serving, and Growing,” said Michael Rucker, Chief Executive Officer at Ivy Rehab. “I could not be prouder of the way our team has met these opportunities head-on without ever losing sight of the importance of the experiences we are creating for each of the thousands of patients we care for every day. The whole team is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with Troy, who has proven to be a leader and forward-thinker in the physical therapy industry.”

Troy has been a physical therapist for more than 20 years and served as President and COO of Benchmark Physical Therapy and Upstream Rehabilitation, helping the company grow to over 300 clinics. “I’m excited to join the Ivy Rehab team and to contribute to the amazing culture and growth of the company,” said Troy. “Our motto of ‘It’s all about the people’ represents the right way to grow a practice and aligns well with my values and approach. Putting our patients and our team members first is always a recipe for success.”

Troy is passionate about clinical excellence, investing in teams, and staying involved in local communities. For the last two years, he has served as the Executive Director of the Alliance for Physical Therapy Quality and Innovation. In this capacity, Troy has been collaborating with executive leaders from the top providers and developing cooperation among previously disparate physical therapy organizations to more effectively advocate for the profession in the areas of reimbursement, value, quality, and innovation. Troy is proud to have chaired the creation of Beyond the Mark, a charitable engine for his former company that brought help to local communities in the areas of health, hunger, and homelessness.

Troy’s first Ivy Rehab event

Troy recently joined a large group of Ivy Rehab Northeast Clinic Directors and participated in a team-building exercise to build bikes for underprivileged kids. At the end of the event, they got a little surprise. Check out the video here:
