Ivy Rehab and HSS Celebrate Ribbon Cutting in Marlboro

We had a great turnout for the ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 5th marking the official opening of the Ivy Rehab HSS Physical Therapy Center of Excellence (CoE) in Marlboro, N.J. Located at 167 U.S. 9 South, the Marlboro Clinic is in the Diamond Plaza right next to Buffalo Wild Wings.

Clinic Director Dr. Erica T. Wald, PT, DPT, OCS, welcomed guests from Ivy Rehab and Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), as well as representatives from local businesses, friends, and family. Councilman Jeff Cantor, attending on behalf of Marlboro Economic Development Committee, delivered remarks and presented the CoE team with a mayoral proclamation celebrating April 5th as the official Grand Opening Day of the clinic. In addition to Mr. Cantor, Lisa A. Goldstein, HSS Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and JeMe Cioppa-Mosca, Senior Vice President of HSS Rehabilitation, also addressed the crowd before cutting the ceremonial ribbon. Following the ceremony, attendees were able to tour the state-of-the-art facility, meet the dedicated team who staffs the clinic, and learn about the programs and treatment options.

HSS, top-ranked in the nation for orthopedics for the past nine years, has partnered with Ivy Rehab to collaborate on a new class of physical therapy facilities in select markets across the country. Currently, these locations include Englewood and Marlboro, New Jersey.  HSS is making a strategic investment of expertise by providing extensive clinical training to clinic directors at each CoE.

The clinic in Marlboro, NJ offers a variety of treatments and programs, including the AlterG® Anti Gravity Treadmill, the latest physical therapy innovation, utilizing the NASA Differential Air Pressure technology.
