The Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute Opens New Facility in Media, PA Led by Nick Barbieri, DPT, PT, CFCE, LLC

The Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute, an Ivy Rehab Network partner, is now open in Media, Pennsylvania. The clinic is located behind the Super WaWa at 1083 West Baltimore Pike. The Ivy Rehab Network has a strong presence in the state of Pennsylvania, now offering over 75 locations to receive the region’s best care. 

Dr. Nick Barbieri, PT, DPT, CFCE, LLC will serve as the Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the Media facility.   

“I am very excited to return back to my hometown of Media in Delaware County after working in West Philadelphia and Newtown Square since 2018,” said Nick Barbieri DPT, PT, CFCE, LLC. “I look forward to providing top-notch physical therapy services to great friends, family, and neighbors in order to get them back to living their life to the fullest and feeling their absolute best. I am very excited about exceeding all of my patient’s expectations with exceptional customer experience.” 

Nick has exceptional energy, a great personality, and is attentive to each of his patients. He is passionate about blending the principles of injury prevention, training, rehabilitation, and recovery to promote an all-encompassing approach to physical therapy.  

After earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Neumann University in 2018, Nick set his sights on shifting the mindset of patients by not only treating the injury but delivering compassionate, high–quality care to help his patients accomplish their goals. Utilizing his background, Nick enjoys helping everyone – from children with orthopedic injuries to older adults, pre and post-surgical therapy, field sport athletes, and the injured worker.  

“We are incredibly excited to expand our service area in Delaware County and look forward to exceeding our patient’s expectations with exceptional care and customer experience,” said Jim Fagnani, PT, DPT, OCS, CFCE, CSCS, and Regional Director at PTW. “We see this as a continued opportunity to serve our patients and communities, as well as the referral sources we have earned trust from for the care of their patients.”   

PTW in Media provides treatments that include sports rehabilitation, arthritis, balance and fall prevention, blood flow restrictionMcKenzie Method, physical therapy, soft tissue mobilization, orthopedic therapy, TMJ treatment, and vertigo treatment.   

Special programs that will be offered at the Media clinic include:  

Access to care is available with or without a physician’s prescription, usually within 24–hours, and through virtual–telehealth as well.
