Maci Katz, DPT Opens New Ivy Rehab HSS Physical Therapy Center of Excellence in Port Washington, NY

Ivy Rehab HSS Physical Therapy Center of Excellence in Port Washington, New York is now open! The clinic is located in the Stop & Shop Plaza at 59 Old Shore Road. Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and Ivy Rehab have partnered to jointly open these Centers of Excellence, featuring a wide range of equipment and services with highly trained therapists providing world-class care.   

“I am thrilled that the opening of this new location will provide the Port Washington community with the highest level of rehabilitative care across a wide spectrum of conditions, injuries and treatment,” said JeMe Cioppa-Mosca, senior vice president of Rehabilitation at HSS. “As a Center of Excellence (COE), this clinic has met rigorous quality and credentialing standards, and also marks the continued growth of our longstanding partnership with Ivy Rehab.” 

Dr. Maci Katz is serving as the Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Port Washington facility. 

“As a Nassau County resident, I am ecstatic and very honored to serve the Port Washington community,” said Maci. “I am looking forward to developing strong patient relationships and providing the best quality care in order to help individuals achieve their physical goals. I will provide a safe, yet fun environment to help our north shore residents return to living life to their fullest potential!”

Maci joined the Ivy Rehab team in 2017 and has had the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals in helping to achieve their physical goals. Her compassionate and outgoing personality encourages her patients to commit to their treatment sessions. She takes pride in delivering the highest quality of care to the members of her community and uses an individualized approach based on the most current research and evidence.  

 Since joining Ivy Rehab, Maci has furthered her skill set by taking continuing education courses such as the Maitland concept for orthopedic manual therapy, kinesiotaping, and IASTM. Her clinical interests include orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, and she is dedicated to getting her patients to feel better, faster.  

In her spare time, you can find Maci cheering on her beloved Syracuse Orange, hiking in the beautiful Hudson Valley, lounging by the water in Long Beach, and spending time with family and friends. 

Ivy Rehab HSS CoE in Port Washington will provide treatments that include balance and fall prevention, chronic pain, physical therapy, soft tissue mobilization, orthopedic therapy, post-surgical treatment, and much more. 

Special programs that will be offered at the Port Washington clinic include:
