Ivy Rehab’s Newest Clinic in Washington, IL is Now Open

We are excited to share that our newest clinic in Washington, IL is now open. The clinic is located at 62 Cherry Tree Shopping Center, in the Kroger complex between Kroger and Big R. They will be open Monday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Ivy Rehab’s footprint continues to rapidly expand in the Midwest, with over 40 clinics in the region.

“I have been a physical therapist and an athletic trainer for 20 years, but I have always commuted to my clinic. I am excited to be coming home to the community in which I live,” said Michael Bennington, Clinic Director at Ivy Rehab in Washington. “The Washington area is vibrant with an active population, and I am looking forward to being part of this community’s medical team.”

Michael has been practicing as a physical therapist and athletic trainer for more than 20 years. He received his Master’s in Athletic Training from Illinois State University in 1997. From there, he went on to graduate from The Herman Finch University of Health Sciences, now known as Rosalind Franklin University in Physical Therapy in 1999.  Michael has worked with patients in the outpatient setting for most of his career. He has had the privilege of working with patients of all ages and a variety of diagnoses. He has also worked with athletes from all over central Illinois. These athletes have come from club, high school, and college, as well as professional athletes in a wide variety of sports.

Ivy Rehab in Washington will provide treatments including Physical Therapy, Soft Tissue Mobilization, Orthopedic Therapy, Post-Surgical Treatment, Arthritis Treatment, Hand Therapy, McKenzie Method, Pediatric Physical Therapy, and Vertigo Treatment. Special programs that will be offered at the Washington clinic include:
