Dr. Lindita Ismaili Opens New Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy Location in the Ditmas Park Area of Brooklyn, NY

Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is now open in the Ditmas Park area of Brooklyn, New York. The new clinic is at 1412 Cortelyou Road, nestled between Marlborough and Rugby Road. They currently welcome new patients, accept a wide range of insurance plans, and strive to accommodate patients with flexible and convenient hours. As part of Ivy Rehab Network’s expansive growth, this Ditmas Park location proudly joins our network of nearly 50 locations in New York.

Dr. Lindita Ismaili, PT, DPT, CRGA, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Ditmas Park facility.

“I am a New Yorker through and through. Born and raised in Brooklyn, I am committed to looking after my community in NYC,” said Lindita. “Brooklyn is home to me for many reasons: the food, the culture, and most importantly, the people. I can’t wait to provide physical therapy services to my friends and neighbors and be an intricate part of helping them achieve their health goals.”

Lindita Ismaili, PT, DPT, CRGA, was first introduced to physical therapy after suffering injuries from a major car accident. The intense force of the oncoming car brought chronic pain that, to this day, can only be relieved through the hands-on treatment and muscle strengthening that physical therapy provides. Lindita understands the commitment and time it takes to return from an injury and the great reward of listening to the body’s needs and trusting professionals to heal.

She earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the City University of New York Graduate Center. Before earning her doctorate, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology from the City University of New York, College of Staten Island. She received the New York Physical Therapy Association’s “Brooklyn/Staten Island District Meritorious Student Achievement Award,” and she has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2011.

Lindita prides herself in creating a safe space for folks who identify in the QTPOC and LGBTQIA+ family. She is also a certified running gait analyst (CRGA), providing individualized treatment plans to address a runner’s specific needs for mobility, strength, and technique. She also enjoys rehabbing individuals who wish to return to a particular sport.
