So my wonderful physical therapist at Ivy in Lafayette Hill recommended Tyler bc I wasn't getting relief bc my dumb shoulder is apparently just..stubborn. He does dry needling which if you don't know, is sorta like acupuncture but more for, like, targeted pain relief & such. Well, the first day I got it I had to drive to Fort Lee, NJ the next day. Normally, a long car ride would be sooo uncomfortable but I was FINE! Now, I work on my feet, chopping a lot of romaine lettuce and other veg, so I'm irritating the injury, plus my posture sucks and I'm waiting to get a cervical spine MRI.. But the dry needling has really helped. Also he reminds me to keep standing and sitting straight which I need! I slouch BADLY. He's really nice and funny which I guess, as a 40-year-old person, I always worry may not be the case with young people, haha. He really cares about getting you better. He even went to bat for me and called my one doctor to try to get her to order an MRI. He's really great, as are Lily and Kathleen. Neither of them mind that I always have to pee when I get there and before I leave (small bladder, ok?!). I am just really glad I started coming here.

Love, love, love! I’ve never had a bad experience. Coming here for about 2 years now and 2 of my kids go. We come 5 times a week total, so we are here a lot. Everyone is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. When I first came the energy was incredible from the receptionist to the staff. Pam, Kate, Fiona thank you so much for making this experience amazing. Every single person is so kind and very helpful! Treatment was very good; however, beware if they provide a splint. Insurance denied payment so the same exact splint I could have bought on Amazon for $27; MLHC charged $80. Lesson learned. Ask!

Vestibular therapist Karen is beyond amazing..( I.e. very effective)

Came in with ear crystals and very dizzy..she identified type of crystal ..horizontal for me which is first step in type of treatment

Resolved the issue after 3 visits

Additionally she improved my balance with very effective exercises ….at end of this dual treatment for balance feel great with zero restrictions !

Also, the ivy office from receptionist to the mgr Michelle exhibit a culture of caring

This place is amazing! Came in a couple of months after my CDF surgery. Neck and upper back were really stiff and working at a desk all day wasn’t helping. After seeing Dr. Cosimo Carrieri for a couple of sessions I regained so much mobility with my neck. Staff is very kind and they always make sure you’re okay. Can’t recommend this location enough.

My recent experience at Excel Physical therapy in Westfield was excellent! The personal attention I received made all the difference in my recovery from a trapped nerve /neck issue . My Physical Therapist, Aaron, was outstanding and his commitment and dedication to successful outcomes for his patients was very evident as he helped me to not lose hope for improvement . He has an amazing knowledge of the human anatomy and he often explained how the muscles and nerves work together and provided me with so many "tools" that I could use at home and at work to aid my recovery and prevent further injury. In addition, Aaron's upbeat energy and sense of humor made coming to therapy something I looked forward to and will miss now that I have recovered! Special shout out to Josh who led me through my exercises with patience and kindness . The entire staff that I worked with, ( Christian, Leah, and Ebony) were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend the team at Excel in Westfield!

Currently being treated here, Everyone has been great here from the receptionist to the therapist and even other the other patients. I lucked out when workman's comp picked this place they actually treat you like a person and not just another workmans comp case.

My elementary aged son needed PT for several weeks for his ankle and was scheduled with Aaron Ploshnick. At first my son was hesitant to go, but Aaron was so kind and fun that PT very quickly became his favorite place to be. He’s already had improvements with ankle and associated pain in a relatively short time and he’s so sad that his PT sessions will be winding down. Aaron has been fantastic with my son…so much so, that my son willingly does his home exercises so he can report back to Aaron during his next appointment. Hopefully we don’t need PT again, but if so, we would definitely come back to Excel to see Aaron.

BACK IN ACTION: They are true to their name. I went for an Ankle Sprain appointment at 8 AM in the Morning. Did the exercises suggested twice. At 5 PM, I played Table Tennis for 1 hour, couple of games of PickleBall and completed like 15K steps that same day. Mary Beth Newsome, you are simply AWESOME. Feel happy that I am in good hands. Referred to my Brother as well. All the people there are very nice and friendly. The exercises given were right to the point and very effective. They also gave me couple of bands to take home which was very convenient. Keep Rocking!!!
