We are located in Newport News, VA. Our location is in the Oyster Point area next to the Oyster Point Inn & Suites. We love being close to our patients!

Our specially-trained pediatric therapists work one-on-one with our young patients to help them, encourage progress, and form lasting bonds. In addition, we work closely with physicians, parents, caregivers, and teachers with a collaborative approach to care to facilitate great clinical and functional outcomes. My son came here unwilling to feed himself, lacking the confidence to even undertake any fine motor activities. Sam set goals and continued to adjust his goals until he was not only confident with fine motor skills, but also better at participating in social events. his favorite activity is now drawing, his handwriting is better than mine, and he is super confident at trying new activities. We wouldn't be here without Ivy Rehab for kids (and Sam)

This place is amazing. I could write a book.. Jess and Sam are incredible for my son. We went through so many therapy places before and my Jayden didn’t click with any of them and I kicked them to the curb. This facility understands these kiddos and in the short time my son has been there he has made ALOT of progress. And I can’t forget the front office staff.. I put them through the wringer with our hectic schedule. Bonnie is ALWAYS polite and caring. I can’t thank them enough. Mark is amazing with children--including small infants. He set us at ease and has been incredibly helpful and supportive as we have worked with my baby's torticollis. Anna at the front desk sets the tone for the visit with her friendliness and competence. I wouldrecommend to anyone!

My son has been attending Southeastern Therapy for Kids for around 6 months now. He sees Ms. Lisa for speech and Ms. Sheena for OT. This is, by far, our most comprehensive therapy experience in three years he has needed services. The office staff is kind and their communication is excellent. We cannot recommend them enough.

My toddler is not an easy kid to deal with but Mrs. Rachel has been able to get through him and being so patient with him. He has made a lot of progress and we are so thankful for the whole staff and for everything that Mrs. Rachel has done for my boy.

Where do I start? This place has been amazing for our little guy, who was severely physically delayed due to an extended amount of time being hospitalized following his birth. When we came to SE, our son didn't have the ability to crawl or walk. However, within six months, he was able to do both. With any therapy, I think being consistent is key, especially with the therapist you use. Mark Halvorsen is our sons therapist and is the reason our son has been able to catch up with his peers physically. Our son trusts him and as parents, we trust him unconditionally. I recommended Southeastern Therapy for Kids if you are looking for a caring staff that will help your kids reach their goals. If you are looking for the best physical therapist in the business in my opinion, go see Mark Halvorsen!

We had a wonderful experience with Southeastern Therapy for Kids in Oyster Point. Mr. Michael was caring and warm during my son’s six months of OT therapy. Ms. Kristen at the front desk was always cheerful and was very helpful when dealing with our insurance.I would highly recommend all the staff!

My son just started going to Southeastern therapy for kids! He receives speech therapy there without Alison Murphy and I am so unbelievably happy that we are here!
