We are thrilled to announce that Spectrum Fitness Center, a unique fitness facility specializing in whole-person health & well being, is now open! The Spectrum Physical Therapy clinic in the Fluvanna area has been renowned for its quality physical therapy services in a caring environment. They recently moved into a new location at 109 Crofton Place, Palmyra, VA 22963, and couldn’t be happier to share this space with the new Fitness Facility right next door. This addition offers even more options for the community to help strengthen, restore, and rejuvenate with qualified staff, an indoor track, and a variety of fitness equipment.

“We are excited to open our new Fitness Center at Lake Monticello,” said Darcy Higgins, Regional Director for Spectrum Physical Therapy.  “Our Medical Membership includes coordination of care by our Doctors of Physical Therapy and our Fitness Director within the Fitness Center, as well as with our community-based physician colleagues. We are very proud of this unique and high level of service we will provide our fitness members.”

Thanks to the Fitness Center’s partnership and proximity to the physical therapy clinic, Medical Members have the opportunity to receive injury prevention and balance/fall prevention screenings, provided by in-house Doctors of Physical Therapy. This is something that no other fitness facilities in the area can offer, truly setting the Spectrum Fitness Center apart from others in the region. In addition, this program allows individuals to take a more well-rounded approach to their fitness and healthcare needs. Whether it’s a recent surgery, managing multiple medications, or just striving for better health and avoiding injuries, this option will help ensure members are doing what’s safe and best for their health, throughout their fitness journey. You can view all membership and pricing options.”We couldn’t be happier to help our physical therapy patients transition from our direct medical supervision to more independent, individualized fitness programs uniquely developed to meet their needs,” said Carly Bach, Clinic Director for Spectrum Physical Therapy in Fluvanna, VA.  “Along the same lines, we love the thought of being there for fitness members by having our therapists available on site to answer questions about injury prevention, health and wellness needs as they arise.”

Their team takes the time to listen, understand and customize treatment plans to help their patients achieve their goals.
