Southeastern Therapy for Kids is Now Open in the Oyster Point area of Newport News, VA

Southeastern Therapy for Kids has opened their 7th clinic in Virginia, in the Oyster Point area of Newport News. The new clinic offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services to meet the rehabilitation needs of pediatric patients, their physicians, and parents.

“Southeastern Therapy for Kids has been a part of the Hampton Roads community for a long time and we’re really excited to expand our services to the Oyster Point area of Newport News,” said Beth King, regional director for the Southeastern Therapy for Kids clinics. “We are committed to providing children and their parents the best experience and highest quality of care, with options close to home. It is beyond rewarding to be able to provide a great space for our patients and staff as they work together to help more children in our community and meet the needs of the families living on the Peninsula.”

Pediatric patients will now have access to specially-trained pediatric therapists who provide one-on-one care. Encouraging pediatric therapists can help young patients improve their functional and developmental skills to facilitate growth and independence. Southeastern Therapy for Kids has been helping young patients from birth to adulthood meet their goals and live healthy lives since 1993.

“Our staff and the team of therapists are excited about the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to excellent patient-centered care as a trusted partner of the Hampton Road Community,” said Michael Pafunda OTR/L, clinic director for the new Oyster Point clinic.
