Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy Opens New Location in Middletown, DE, Led by Sean Joynt

Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is now open in Middletown, Delaware. The clinic is conveniently located at 301 South Ridge Avenue near Kiku Steakhouse. The office is accepting new patients, accepts most insurance plans, and offers convenient hours. This new clinic marks the fourth location in Delaware and joins the existing locations in Claymont, Newark, and Wilmington.

Sean Joynt, PT, MSPT, CRGA, serves as the Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Middletown, DE, facility.  

Sean is an energetic and enthusiastic therapist who is attentive to all his patients. He works hard to provide high-quality care helping his patients improve to live full, pain-free lives.  

Sean has provided care for all ages in his 25-year career. He has treated children and adults with orthopedic, neurological, and genetic disorders in a variety of settings which include home care, pediatrics, acute care, and outpatient. He has provided pre/post-surgical therapy to children and adults and has experience working with and adjusting wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment to support his patients. Using researched-based treatment techniques, he provides each patient with their own unique plan of care.   

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. Sean enjoys building miniatures and participating in playing tabletop games. 

“I am very excited to be able to provide top–notch physical therapy care to all my friends and neighbors in the surrounding communities,” said Sean. “I look forward to helping them live their lives to the fullest and feeling their absolute best!”
