Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy Opens New Facility in West Haverstraw, NY Led by Dr. Nicholas Kirkpatrick

Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is now open in West Haverstraw, New York. The clinic is conveniently located at 36 S Route 9W across the street from Stop n Shop. The office is accepting new patients, accepts most insurance plans, and offers convenient hours. This new clinic joins the Ivy Rehab Network of nearly 40 locations in New York.

Dr. Nicholas Kirkpatrick, PT, DPT, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new West Haverstraw facility.

Nick graduated from Utica College where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Specializing in outpatient orthopedics, he spent his initial experience rehabilitating Texas high school athletes with ACL repairs and various injuries along the east coast.  

As an active outdoorsman, Nick has treated patients who return to outdoor adventure from hiking to white water rafting. Nick has special interests in working with movement impairment syndromes, sports injuries, and the shoulder of all ages. He advocates the Maitland mobilization system, which conceptualizes subtle alterations in tissue and joints to correct and reduce pain. In combination with his growing movement analysis skills, Nick utilizes Kinesiotaping to assist movement and alleviate discomfort while incorporating mindfulness to improve movement awareness.  

Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy in West Haverstraw, NY, provides treatments that include: balance and fall prevention, chronic pain, physical therapy, soft tissue mobilization, orthopedic therapy, post-surgical treatment, and more.
