Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy Opens New Facility in Southport, CT Led by Dr. Joseph Rivieccio

Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is now open in Southport, Connecticut. The clinic is conveniently located at 3683 Post Road near Michaels. The office accepts new patients, accepts most insurance plans, and offers convenient hours. With nearly 20 locations in Connecticut, this new location joins Ivy Rehab’s rapidly expanding footprint along the East Coast.   

Dr. Joseph Rivieccio PT, DPT, OCS, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Southport facility.   

“I am super excited to open a new location to help all my patients in Southport and the surrounding communities,” said Joseph. “My goal is to provide an active, fun form of physical therapy that is unmatched throughout the state of Connecticut. I want all my patients to be confident that they’ll achieve all their goals and feel their absolute best when they walk through our doors!”  

Joe recently moved to Norwalk, CT, after growing up in Brooklyn, NY, where he practiced primarily in outpatient orthopedics with a focus on sports rehabilitation. Throughout his career, he has become credentialed as a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist as well as a strength and conditioning specialist.   

Joe loves working with the post-operative, return-to-sport, and concussion populations. Joe specializes in ACL return to sport rehabilitation and programming. He enjoys utilizing the principles of strength & conditioning and pain science to develop exercise programs to help you return to the active lifestyle you love.   

Outside work, Joe enjoys hiking, biking, & surfing, spending time with his fiancé, trying new desserts or food, and playing with his dog Pal.  

Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy in Southport, CT, provides treatments that include balance and fall prevention, chronic pain, dry needling, physical therapy, soft tissue mobilization, orthopedic therapy, post-surgical treatment, and more.
