Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is thrilled to announce they are now open in Baldwin, NY. The clinic is conveniently located at 939 Atlantic Avenue in the Baldwin Harbor Shopping Center next to CVS Pharmacy. The office is accepting new patients, accepts most insurance plans, and offers convenient hours. Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy has been a leader in outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy services for nearly 16 years with over 225 locations. With this opening, the Ivy Rehab Network continues to expand its footprint along the East Coast.

“We are excited to be making exceptional patient experiences and results more convenient by opening our newest location in Baldwin Harbor,” said Joe Sullivan, PT, OCS, CSCS, and Area Director at Ivy Rehab and Peak Performance on Long Island, New York. “The community of Baldwin and its neighbors can more easily access the same trusted care that Ivy Rehab and Peak Performance have offered for many years.”

With eleven years of experience as a physical therapist at Peak Performance Island Park and Wantagh offices, Giovanni Maturo is leading the Baldwin clinic as Clinic Director and treating therapist. Gio brings a high level of energy and a caring personality to his patients. He was born and raised on Long Island where he excelled both academically and as a multi-sport athlete. Gio treats spinal injuries, post-operative cases, sports injuries, arthritis, sprains and strains, joint replacements, and many other orthopedic conditions. Outside of the clinic, he loves spending time with family, especially coaching his son and playing with his young daughter.

“With over a decade of experience working in Nassau County, I’m excited to bring my expertise to the newest Baldwin location. Working at our Wantagh clinic at Peak Performance, part of the Ivy Rehab Network, for the past five years I have gained a strong commitment to creating a unique and patient-specific treatment plan that helps each patient reach their goal,” said Gio. “I take pride in providing the members of my community with the highest quality of care.  I am very much looking forward to the new opportunity of serving the local Baldwin community.”
