Ivy Rehab for Kids HSS Pediatric Therapy Center of Excellence is now serving Midland Park, NJ

With the growing need for pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapy services in New Jersey, we are thrilled to announce that we have expanded our existing clinic in Midland Park to now also include an Ivy Rehab for Kids HSS Pediatric Therapy Center of Excellence. You’ll find the facility located at 85 Goodwin Ave in Midland Park, within the Ivy Rehab facility there. Ivy Rehab and Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) have partnered to jointly open a number of Centers of Excellence (CoE) over the past two years, but this is the first pediatric-focused CoE to be developed through this partnership.

“Ivy Rehab Midland Park will have the first Pediatric Therapy Center of Excellence in New Jersey,” said Brian Kennedy, Ivy’s Regional Director for Northeast New Jersey. “As a resident of Bergen County myself, I couldn’t be prouder to open this specialty in such a convenient location in the county—right between routes 17 and 208, and between interstates 80 and 287. It’s so accessible to a wide swath of the population in the area.”

“We’re excited to serve the local community with our pediatric program,” said Tim Roy, Clinic Director of Ivy Rehab in Midland Park. “We know there’s a demand for it especially with school-based services being irregular with the current pandemic. We’re excited to provide such an outstanding staff to serve these kids.”

We have created a warm, caring, and fun environment that will exceed expectations and enable each child to reach their maximum potential. This facility specializes in developing individualized treatment plans, customized for each child’s unique needs. Whether it’s improving sensory processing skills, handwriting, mobility, self-regulation, developmental delays, motor coordination, speech sound production, stuttering, feeding, language deficits, social skills, or other needs, the compassionate team at Ivy Rehab for Kids in Midland is here to help.

“We look forward to opening the first Ivy Rehab for Kids Pediatric Therapy Center of Excellence (CoE) in Midland Park, New Jersey in collaboration with Ivy Rehab,” said JeMe Cioppa-Mosca, senior vice president of Rehabilitation at HSS. “COE clinics were created to bring high quality rehabilitation care that HSS is known for to the local community.”
