Elite Physical Therapy Opens 15th Location in Rhode Island Led by Dr. Julia Peterson
Elite Physical Therapy, an Ivy Rehab Network partner, is now open in Narragansett, Rhode Island. The clinic is conveniently located at 14 Woodruff Avenue, next to the RI Blood Center and Walgreens. The office is accepting new patients, accepts most insurance plans, and offers convenient hours. This new clinic marks Elite Physical Therapy’s 15th location in Rhode Island.
Dr. Julia Peterson, PT, DPT, MTC, cert. DN serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Narragansett facility.
“I feel very connected to serving the South County and Narragansett community with a positive experience and friendly service,” said Julia. “It is one of my greatest joys to help achieve patient’s health and wellness goals.”
Julia has worked in outpatient physical therapy since graduating from the University of St. Augustine for the Health Sciences in 2012. She strives to deliver a personal and individual treatment approach. She guides her patients toward reducing pain and meaningful goals through various techniques, including manual therapy and functional exercise training.
She has specializations in both dry needling and pelvic rehabilitation. With a strong dedication to teaching, she enjoys sharing her knowledge about musculoskeletal conditions and healing to assist her patients towards their goals in recovery.
After a busy childhood and frequent relocations from her family’s Naval career, she enjoys settling with her husband and two children locally in Saunderstown, RI. Her hobbies include traveling, running, and gardening.
