Dr. Michael Quintans Opens a New Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute Clinic in Ardmore, PA

The Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute, an Ivy Rehab partner, is now open in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. The clinic is located at 110 Ardmore Avenue located between the Ardmore Library and the Ardmore Avenue Community Center. The Ivy Rehab Network has a strong presence in the state of Pennsylvania, now offering over 35 locations to receive the region’s best care. PTW in Ardmore marks the opening of PTW’s fourteenth clinic in the region. 

Dr. Michael Quintans will serve as the Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the Ardmore facility. Mike is a native of Delaware County where he competed in multiple sports while in high school as well as football at Bloomsburg University where he graduated with a degree in Biology. Mike earned his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Widener University. He is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. 

Growing up in Delaware County, I am proud and excited to bring a state-of-the-art clinic to Ardmore that will foster a bridge between cutting edge physical therapy and fitness to all members of the community and the surrounding area,” said Michael Quintans PT, DPT, OCS. “It’s been a dream of mine to integrate physical therapy and sports performance utilizing a treatment model that fosters a bridge between a progressive approach of physical therapy to fitness and performance. My energy and satisfaction comes from advancing motivated clinical specialists to empower our patients and clients to achieve optimal levels of function and performance. Ivy Rehab has given me the opportunity to do exactly that.”

Mike is committed to optimizing his patient’s outcomes using the latest evidence-based treatment approaches including manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and slow-motion camera technology. Mike shows a strong interest in biomechanics as it pertains to all sports and activities of daily living. He enjoys helping athletes of all ages identify and improve limitations in their movement patterns enhancing health and performance. 

PTW in Ardmore provides treatments that include sports rehabilitation, arthritis, balance and fall prevention, blood flow restriction, physical therapy, soft tissue mobilization, McKenzie Method, orthopedic therapy, TMJ treatment, and vertigo Treatment.
