A New Ivy Rehab HSS Physical Therapy Center of Excellence is Open in Glastonbury, CT

Ivy Rehab HSS Physical Therapy Center of Excellence (CoE) is now open in Glastonbury, CT. You’ll find the office located at 2520 Main Street in the same shopping plaza as Hartford Healthcare Urgent Care. Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and Ivy Rehab have partnered to jointly open these Centers of Excellence, featuring a wide range of equipment and services with highly trained therapists providing world-class care.   

Dr. Matthew Reynolds will serve as the Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the Glastonbury facility. 

Matthew attended Quinnipiac University where he received both his Bachelor’s in Health Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He holds numerous advanced certifications and is board certified as an Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He believes that anyone can reach their physical goals with the right guidance and determination. 

When he’s not working, Matt loves to cycle competitively all-over New England, running, hiking, and traveling. 

“As a Connecticut native, I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve the Glastonbury community,” said Reynolds. “I believe in developing strong patient relationships to help every patient achieve their goals. I look forward to providing the best customer experience and care so patients can reach their highest potential.” 

The new office offers AlterG Anti Gravity Treadmill, dry needling, physical therapy, soft tissue mobilization, arthritis treatment, orthopedic therapy, post-surgical treatment, balance and fall prevention, and much more. Special programs available at the Center of Excellence include: 

“We look forward to adding this new location and expanding towards the Hartford region,” said JeMe Cioppa-Mosca, senior vice president of Rehabilitation at HSS. “In order to become a COE, this new clinic met rigorous standards in order to provide high-quality rehabilitation care to the local community”.

Access to care is available with or without a physician’s prescription, usually within 24–hours, and through virtual–telehealth as well. The office is open Monday through Friday, and Saturday by appointment.
