Where We’re Located

We are located in Chesapeake, VA. Our location is in the Western Branch area. We are located inside the Hatcher Orthodontics Building on the corner of Taylor Road and Bruce. We love being close to our patients!

Our specially-trained pediatric therapists work one-on-one with our young patients to help them, encourage progress, and form lasting bonds. In addition, we work closely with physicians, parents, caregivers, and teachers with a collaborative approach to care to facilitate great clinical and functional outcomes. Our therapists work closely with each patient to create the best, individualized recovery plan.  We are dedicated to helping children reach their full potential, faster!

My son as been a patient at Ivy Rehab for about 7 months now. Everyone at this office is super friendly and go above and beyond for their patients. My son sees Ms. Cortney and absolutely loves his time with her 2 days a week and is always excited to come to his appointments. The entire team at Ivy Rehab is incredible! When my son started speech, he could only say 2-3 word sentences and even those were hard to understand for most people. Mrs. Chelsey helped him so much! He can now speak complete sentences and most people can understand him, not just me. We cannot thank you enough, Mrs. Chelsey! He is so much more confident now and such a social guy now. My seven year old son goes to OT and my two year old daughter goes to PT, and I am extremely happy with both! Everybody here is so kind and helpful, and they bend over backwards to make sure my babies are taken care of.

My 5 year old son has been going here for over 2 years. When he started, he had minimal verbal language and now his vocabulary is immense! He also receives OT here and he is making huge progress with his motor skills. I will forever be grateful to all of them for teaching my son the skills he needs to flourish. We adore our providers- Chelsey, Lauren and Kim. They make sure to incorporate things and topics he loves. The front office ladies are wonderful too! Kayla and Liz greet us every appointment and always chat with my son. The entire office goes above and beyond.

We’ve been at Ivy Rehab since 2020, and we absolutely love it. We’ve been able to have time with each therapist and they’re all amazing in their own ways. We get new information and new techniques from everyone.They are very flexible with their schedule if you need to reschedule or a therapist is out sick. They make each session fun but educational. And hands on things to use at home. It definitely has felt like a small family when we’ve came. We love Ivy rehab.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! The staff here is amazing. My son goes twice a week with Myrelsa, I have seen improvements with his communication skills since we started 6 months ago. My son prefers Myrelsa but all of the therapist seem great. Reception is also amazing, Liz and Kayla hold it down!!! So glad we chose Ivy Rehab for my son's speech therapy☺️

Southeastern Therapy for Kids off of Taylor Rd in Chesapeake is an amazing office for therapy! I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a caring, professional, and hard working setting for their child to receive care.We have Nichole for Physical Therapy, Chelsea for Occupational Therapy and Meghan for Speech. Each of his therapists have implemented previous goals from another facility flawlessly as well as noticed additional areas to support for my son. Each therapist is innovative in her area of concentration and committed to helping my son get to where he wants and needs to be developmentally.Meghan is also the clinic director and I have had zero problems with rescheduling when needed and if his therapist isn’t available then he is seen by someone else and the continuity of care is incredible.Shout out to Ms. Denise at the front desk, she’s not only a sweet person but works hard to help with scheduling and management of copayments.I’ll also note that we are a military family and use Tricare Select for our insurance and have not had any problems. We also have been to 5 facilities over the past 4 years and this has by far been the best!Thank you Southeastern4Kids!
