We go above and beyond when it comes to the treatment of our young patients. Our goal is to make their experience as close to “playtime” as possible. Our specially-trained pediatric therapists work one-on-one with our young patients to help them, encourage progress, and form lasting bonds. In addition, we work closely with physicians, parents, caregivers, and teachers with a collaborative approach to care to facilitate great clinical and functional outcomes. Positive Steps Therapy provides pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, developmental therapy, feeding therapy, and early intervention services in a caring environment with one-on-one attention. Our licensed therapists are committed to quality care. They attend continuing education courses each year to bring our patients the most current treatment techniques.

We absolutely love Maddy she is one of the best occupational therapist you could ever ask for…. But we are highly disappointed in the management team and the fact that they want to do without a receptionist…. Management shouldn’t expect to put that on the therapists that work so hard to see the kids achieve all their goals

Positive Steps is an amazing place with so many caring people working there. Everyone is so kind and engaging with my son, and you can tell they really care about everyone who walks through the door. My son gets so excited coming to see Mr John and I get excited too because I know he’s going to learn so much, and come home with something new to add to his vocabulary skills. Sam is also super friendly and outgoing. I would recommend this place too any parent looking too give their child an extra helping hand.

My son receives multiples therapies here. I have been so impressed with the dedication from the whole staff. The therapists are attentive and think of clever ways keep my son engaged and wanting to come back.They also give great ideas of what we can work on at home.We have seen so much growth in our son, we are so proud of how far he’s come!They are also very accommodating to my crazy schedule and Sam is so sweet to help me figure out the insurance side of things.I HIGHLY highly recommend this office. They truly care about helping the kids.

We have been coming here for awhile now! First it was my 10 month old! Annie was our Physical therapist she was and still is so kind and caring when it came to my baby! Being that she was so wonderful with my little baby I signed my oldest daughter up ASAP I talked to Sam and she had us in here the following day!! She stayed on top of my insurance and made sure to keep me in the loop as well!!! Now we receive pt and speech for my oldest daughter twice a week and they make sure to have both sessions at the same time and they work around my work schedule! This is the place for you if you need somewhere to go and fast I give this place 5 stars between Sam, Anne,Liz it’s no debate this is where I would want any child/ren to be wonderful place! We love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My twins have had the privilege of working with each of the therapists OT and PT for one and speech for the other. There aren’t enough good words for these ladies! They all took the time to genuinely get to know my kids and it’s obvious their invested in helping them meet their goals. They celebrate with us when there’s victories and offer more support during the struggles. Miss Sam is always a familiar, welcoming face and the kids absolutely love her. She made the transition of going to therapy fun for them which was huge for my SPD girl. I can’t recommend this place any more, they are the best!

My children absolutely love their experience here at Positive Steps. We have had so many great improvements in both occupational therapy and speech for both children. The staff is absolutely amazing. We highly recommend.

My twins have been receiving services at Positive Steps for almost a year now. They each receive PT, OT, and speech multiple times per week so as you can imagine we spend a great deal of our time here. The office coordinator, Sam, is fantastic! She takes the time each month to go through and schedule my kids so that they have therapies at the same time/back to back which has cut the time we spend here by almost 50%! Miranda, the main OT they see, is arguably the best OT in this area. A lot of people who see twins forget that they are individuals, but she pays such close attention to their individual needs and has done everything in her power to help them. She is also constantly teaching me and helping me to better understand their sensory needs. I have never once felt pushed aside by any of the therapists here (we see them all). They take the time to talk to parents and listen to our feedback. They work together to give my children the best care possible and I can’t thank them enough for what they do. My kids actually enjoy going to therapy to play with all of their “friends”. We wouldn’t go anywhere else so if you’re on the fence trust me when I say you’ve found the right place!

Enjoyable staff worked well with my 2 year old daughter. She would go in crying and come out smiling and giggling. She as able to meet all the expectations of her doctor after completing her visits.I would recommend to anybody who is in need for pediatric therapies.

My husband and I cannot say enough about the care and dedication of the therapists and office coordinator at Positive Steps Therapy of Washington, PA. From our son's evaluation to his biweekly appointments, each session is enjoyable and rewarding. He is gaining so much strength, coordination, and balance all while learning colors, numbers, and patience, too! Amy, his therapist, creates unique activities that engages him all while building his core and strengthening his muscles. The entire group is welcoming and visibly enjoys their job. Miss Sam, the office coordinator, always has a smile on her face when you walk in and has stickers ready for not only my child, but each child, as they finish their session. She is the perfect person to greet and say goodbye as people come and go. The staff is very accommodating and we are very lucky to have found this group. Their later hours allow me to go to therapy with my son after work so I can see what he is working on. They welcome me into the session and ask me for my feedback. They have great open communication which allows me to ask questions and feel comfortable. As a fellow educator myself, Miss Amy, is doing a fabulous job and we couldn't ask for a better therapist to help our son gain the strength and coordination he needs to succeed!
