What we treat

Down below on this page, you’ll find the full list of what we treat and programs we offer. A high percentage of injuries and pain syndromes result from weakness and/or tightness in neighboring regions of the musculoskeletal system. Our therapists evaluate possible compensatory patterns in addition to the area of pain or loss of function. This thorough examination allows us to better identify and eliminate all underlying causes so patients achieve lasting results. We also focus on educating you, so that you’re empowered to take control of their injury, grow stronger than ever, and prevent recurrences.

We understand the impact that pain and loss of function can have on the lives of our patients. Our entire staff, from the front desk to our clinical team, provides a compassionate and motivational environment dedicated to healing. We ensure we are meeting each patient’s unique needs so their experience is both enjoyable and rewarding. We have extensive experience treating a variety of conditions including: shoulder injuries and surgeries, knee injuries and reconstructions/replacements, spinal conditions and surgeries, sports injuries and muscle traumas, chronic and acute pain syndromes, neck conditions and surgeries, pre and post-surgical cases, geriatric conditions, work-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, lower back pain, general strains and sprains, joint replacement recovery, neurological conditions, vestibular and balance conditions, auto accidents, hand and wrist injuries, and much more!

Connie and the whole team are great! I’ve learnt a lot and had a good progress with my injured knee so that now I am ready for jogging again!
Excellent experience with Connie!
Connie is my Physical Therapist and she has been so helpful in guiding me through activities to reduce my shoulder pain. She is very encouraging and ensures that I do only the correct activities so that I am not overdoing my exercises to the point of pain. She is the best!
Connie helped me with my painpleasent facility
Connie has been super thoughtful and worked closely with me on my rehab. I have made a lot of progress with her help.
Connie has been a great help with the healing of my knee. She has lots of patience and answers all my questions. I feel very comfortable with sharing my progress with her knowing she is always very encouraging. Great experience 👍
PT has been very helpful for eliminating sciatica and reducing some of my RA joint issues. Thank you, Connie.
After breaking my wrist last July, Ive had the most wonderful experience in my healing process at the Ivy Rehab in Princeton NJ working with Physical Therapist Connie D. She has been working with me twice weekly. Connie is friendly, knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and seeks effective ways to gradually facilitate my healing and above all strengthen my wrist and deal with carpal tunnel and nerve issues caused by the fall. You might say, well this is what she's supposed to do as a therapist, but you should understand that losing mobility and strength is very difficult emotionally and psychologically for me since I work full time and am a caretaker for my husband. I tend to lose patience with the slow healing that nature dictates at my age, and lose confidence that the situation will ever improve. But Connie's special talent is that she is a positive encouraging force in my life right now and she explains why it takes so long and proves through changing my exercises to target my goals and monthly testing that I am indeed improving. I have also worked with Bob at the Princeton office, and he too is knowledgeable, friendly and patient. In fact the whole office from reception through to every aid have been pleasant, upbeat and extremely heloful and welcoming. But Connie is a very special person, she cares very much about all those she works with and she has a delightful sense of humor, a very important and appreciated quality for me and others working through issues more serious than mine. She truly lights up the place.
Ivy Rehab is an excellent choice for physical therapy, boasting skilled and attentive therapists. Following surgery, I was fortunate to have Connie Darrow as my therapist. She crafted a personalized treatment plan, adjusting it as needed throughout my recovery journey. Connie's approach led to effective results, allowing me me to achieve my recovery goals. Under her care, I've made remarkable progress. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Connie to anyone in search of top-notch physical therapist.
Working with Connie and Kristin has been an excellent experience. Because of them, I've noticed clear results in just a couple of weeks and continue to make progress. Both Connie and Kristin are clear communicators, good at explaining not just what to do but why it's important or helpful. Both are careful and attentive, and a pleasure to work with.
Connie helped me a lot to get better. Thank you so much!
Ivy rehab has been so helpful in PT needs. Connie goes above and beyond to help me with my therapy exercises and stretches. She has helped me in just two weeks of PT therapy. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Ivy rehab to anyone with PT needs.
Connie was very good at explaining excercise an and showing me the proper way to do them . The program she put together for me helped me strengthen my shoulder and return to normal activities in a few short weeks . Excellent
Great setting and staff
The staff at Princeton Ivy Rehab is friendly and always professional! The wait time is minimal.
Great experience! Connie has been really helpful with my knee pain. Highly recommend
Great experience at Ivy Rehab!
The staff is truly welcoming and friendly. Out of all of the Physical Therapy offices I’ve been to, this is by far the nicest environment. They are very clean and sanitize all of their equipment. The take the time to stay up to date with holiday decorations that add to the atmosphere. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, supportive recovery. :)
The Princeton team is fabulous! I highly recommend them!
Very good experience receiving PT for a minor shoulder injury - I highly recommend them to anyone in the princeton area
Excellent PT facility. Connie was such a sweetheart! I’ve been to many PT places and Ivy was the best one. Connie really cared about my issues and getting me better. I highly recommend her and Ivy!
Outstanding service provided by outstanding professionals.
I was suggested to have Physical Therapy sessions by the Orthopaedic surgeon as I was not recovering from my wrist injury developed during work out in the gym.I visited Ivyrehab Princeton and was scheduled with Connie Darrow.I must admit that Connie knows her job very well. After 2 months of the injury, I can now finally feel recovery, however after having PT sessions with her.I would recommend them highly to visit.
Connie Darrow is an excellent PT. She really took the time to listen and help me overcome severe pain that I was having. She got me back to full pain free functioning and now I have daily exercises that will keep me pain free. Highly recommend this office and Connie specifically.
I came in with pain in my back and neck, and later developed pain in my knee; my physical therapist Connie worked with me through all of it and helped me get back on my feet. Highly recommend.
I had an amazing experience at Ivy rehab! My therapist, Connie, was absolutely incredible. I had painful Achilles tendonitis which was impacting my ability to walk for an extended time. With Connie's help, my ankles have fully recovered and as a result I have started to exercise again. This has created a positive impact on my overall health and well-being! I am very grateful to Connie! She truly cares for her patients!
I had the privilege of working with an exceptional physical therapist, Connie, who completely transformed my life. After a painful lower back injury at the gym, I was desperate for relief, and her expertise and guidance were nothing short of incredible. From the very beginning, her dedication to my recovery was evident. She took the time to thoroughly assess my condition, listened attentively to my concerns, and devised a tailored treatment plan that was both effective and manageable. She motivated me to push my limits and regain my strength, all while ensuring that I felt comfortable and safe during every session. Her patience and empathy were invaluable during the challenging moments. Thanks to her expertise and personalized care, I am now pain-free and back to pursuing my fitness goals. I can't express enough gratitude for her dedication to my well-being. If you're in search of a great physical therapist who can truly make a difference, look no further. This therapist is a true professional who genuinely cares about your recovery and overall health.
Kristin deserves a raise
Over the years, my husband and I have had therapy for various conditions from Bob Fauske in the Princeton office, and we think he is an extraordinary physical therapist! Bob is deeply knowledgeable about human anatomy and how and why it can malfunction and cause pain. He provides persuasive scientific explanations for why body parts are not working well and effective therapeutic exercises that have rectified or ameliorated our problems. Bob has a keen understanding of where to identify the physical locus of a problem, and he uses his strong hands to perform highly therapeutic massages that reach deep down to loosen tight muscles and help other internal body parts. Bob works with his clients to help them achieve their goals. Most recently, I had therapy with him for 11 months to enable me to recover from back surgery to relieve four pinched nerves and ameliorate a "drop foot" condition that created numbness in one foot, which made walking difficult and jogging impossible. Largely thanks to the therapeutic program designed by Bob, I met my three goals of being able to walk, hike, and jog again. And when I met those goals, Bob wisely told me it was time to stop coming to therapy—which was hard for me to give up because it was so enormously beneficial for me! My husband and I heartily recommend Bob to all our friends and acquaintances who need PT.
Connie is great!
I am unfortunately not new to physical therapy and rehab as my condition is chronic but this does give me some insight into the different physical therapists in this field near Princeton NJ. I have been in therapy for years and without a doubt Ivy Rehab in Princeton is by far the best I have ever had. All of my previous therapists were very good in their field but none of them have had the positive futuristic vision that I get at Ivy Rehab in Princeton. There they are all so nice and uplifting but the best is the way Kristin, my therapist, is so VERY positive about my future possibilities of recovery (OK maybe just minor physical improvement) with hard work and dedication! Thank You Kristin!!!!To be clear what makes Ivy Rehab better is not just the high level of physical care, but the way Ivy Rehab is so special in the way they treat the individuals with personal care and attention above and beyond.
I had a great experience at Ivy Rehab! Went in for PT for a knee injury and got treatment and advice tailored to my specific situation and goals. Connie was great and helped me understand my injury and what I needed to do fix it. One of my concerns going in to PT was that the frequency of sessions was unnecessary since I could just do the exercises at home after learning them but each visit was helpful and I was given new exercises or progressions on old exercises based on how things were going.
The staffs are very professional and friendly. My pain is gradually gone and the strength of my injurried arm and shoulder improved after sections of customized therapies and massages. I definitely recommend them.
experienced personnel, very thorough evaluation, gentlygraded exercise plan
Both Chelsea and Dave have been great, my son had a very good experience with his PT in this office. He has been going to recover from a soccer / knee injury.
Only been a few weeks, but already seeing major improvements. The PT I've been working with (Chelsey) is excellent. Highly recommend
Ivyrehab exceeded my expectations for care. My PT, Chelsey Provencher, always listened and understood my needs, modifying my treatment as we went along and I worked toward recovery. She is a talented therapist. The offices in Princeton and Hopewell both worked to meet my schedule and are well run.
Very excellent diagnosis and care, especially from Robert Fauske in Princeton. He and others really care about their patients' health and recovery.
Great staff, Katy is personal and professional, and listens carefully to you as a patient. If you're hurting, IVY will fix you up, for sure.
caring & competent.
Everything about Ivy stands above and beyond other PT facilities, its level of professional with the first contact with the front office. Ittakes extra precautions to ensure cleanliness; there is no wait time, the therapist I have used pays attention, is skilled and shares his knowledge with the patient ensuring they will maintain their recovery.I have been to other PT facilities and IvyRehab stands out.
