Leaps and Bounds has Upgraded their Brighton, MI Clinic!

We are excited to announce that Leaps and Bounds Therapy, an Ivy Rehab Network partner, has expanded the services at their Brighton, MI location to now offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy! In the new custom-built space in their Brighton, Michigan clinic, Leaps and Bounds is now able to specialize in intensive ABA therapy, which is the leading therapy for children with autism. The dedicated team that oversees the ABA therapy program at Leaps and Bounds in Brighton works in close conjunction with the family, school and other therapists of each patient to provide a comprehensive treatment approach that is custom-tailored for each child.

“We are proud to now be able to offer ABA services in our Brighton location. We spent a lot of time designing the new clinic so that we can provide the best space possible for each child to learn and develop,” said Jenny LaRue, Clinic Director of Leaps and Bounds in Brighton.

“Our new clinic is connected to our existing occupational, speech and physical therapy clinic to allow for collaboration between all disciplines, which ensures that each child is getting the best-individualized treatment. Our opening day was a huge success and we look forward to helping as many kids as possible!”

ABA therapy is used to help children struggling with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health concerns. The program promotes learning new skills and reducing challenging actions by applying the principles of behavior and learning. ABA therapy focuses on increasing communication, social relationships, and positive behaviors, while also working at decreasing learning deficits and challenging behaviors. Motor, language, academic, social, self-care, and behavioral skills are all facets of the program, but the treatment plans are flexible and built around the specific needs of each child.

Leaps and Bounds Therapy provides the best in pediatric physical, occupational, speech, and now applied behavior analysis. Their space features private treatment rooms, a large gym area, and an indoor play structure. With a wide variety of expert therapists on staff, the team specializes in areas from minor issues to treatment for complex, medically fragile patients. Leaps and Bounds Therapy offers one of the most comprehensive therapy programs for kids in Michigan.

The Brighton clinic is located right off Grand River, at 8542 West Grand River. To learn more about Leaps and Bounds Therapy in Brighton, click here.
