Ivy Rehab HSS Physical Therapy Center of Excellence is Now Open in Charlotte, NC

We are excited to announce that our PhysioFocus clinic in the South Park neighborhood of Charlotte, NC, is now an Ivy Rehab HSS Physical Therapy Center of Excellence (CoE). Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), top-ranked in the nation for orthopedics for the past ten years, has partnered with Ivy Rehab to collaborate on this facility, which is the fifth CoE to open, and the first of its kind in the Southeast. The other Centers of Excellence are located in Englewood and Marlboro, NJ, Northport, NY, and Shelton, CT, with additional facilities slated to open in select markets throughout the US.

“HSS is proud to open this new location in collaboration with Ivy Rehab in Charlotte, North Carolina,” said JeMe Cioppa-Mosca, Senior Vice President of Rehabilitation at HSS. “The South Park location had to meet exceptional standards of clinical and physical facility excellence, practice management and scope of service, to become an HSS Physical Therapy Center of Excellence (CoE).  This CoE  enables HSS to provide the local community with convenient access to high-quality care as well as share our robust rehabilitation knowledge across a broad spectrum of conditions, injuries, interventions, and preventative treatments.”

The South Park clinic is located at 5960 Fairview Road in Suite #250 and is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. This clinic offers Physical Therapy, Soft Tissue Mobilization, Arthritis Treatment, Orthopedic Therapy, Post-Surgical Treatment, McKenzie Method, Dry Needling, Hand Therapy, and Vertigo Treatment as well as access to other state-of-the-art equipment, including an AlterG® Anti Gravity Treadmill.
