We are located in Alexandria, VA. Our location is located near Kohl’s and Walmart. We love being close to our patients!

About Us

We provide physical, occupational, speech and feeding therapy, along with concussion rehabilitation to children from birth to 21 years of age at outpatient locations and through early intervention services. Our team approach is geared toward the individual needs of each patient, which has a proven rate of success. Overall goals can be reached in a decreased time frame because children are working with a team of therapists in multiple environments with multiple treatment styles. With daytime, evening and weekend hours, separate treatment spaces for patients of all ages, and a wide range of accepted insurances, we work hard to enable every child to maximize their potential!

Our clinic provides pediatric therapy in a caring environment with one-on-one attention. Our licensed therapists are committed to quality care. Ivy Rehab offered great service to my son for speech, physical, and occupational therapy. He looked forward to going to his sessions every week and made a lot of progress during the time he was there. All the therapists were great! The staff at the front desk were super helpful whenever an issue like billing came up and always helped to resolve the issue. Not to mention they were always welcoming and kind. I hate that we had to discontinue services as my son started kindergarten and his new schedule didn’t align with his previously scheduled sessions. If we ever need to return in the future, we will not hesitate to go back!

My children and I love all the staff at the Alexandria location. The front desk staff is always so welcoming and appointments are very flexible. I’m able to switch to an online session if needed.The therapists do a great job of empowering both myself and my children. If I have any concerns or questions on what to do at home, it’s immediately addressed.

My son absolutely loves it! Always excited to see his therapists. They all do all do a wonderful job! My son has made such a big progress since being here. Clean space, the ladies at the front desk are very nice and helpful! Your able to schedule well in advance, which is a plus! I definitely recommend!

The staff and therapists have been wonderful. Everyone has been friendly, helpful, and supportive. My child has enjoyed working with the therapists and looks forward to therapy. We appreciate being able to schedule in advance and the consistency that comes with that. We have seen a lot of growth over the last several months and look forward to continued improvement.

I started my child here about 6 months ago and the changes I’ve seen are massive. The therapist are kind and make it an effort to make every child confortable during each therapy treatment. They make each therapy session like it’s playing time, so the kids learn while they think they are playing. I recommended this location to all my close friends and family. They really improved the cognitive growth of my child.

My son has gone here for PT (at Alexandria and Lorton) and now ST and OT at Alexandria. I have nothing but great things to say about the therapists and the office staff. Everyone is extraordinarily caring and professional and has bent over backwards for my family. I have seen wonderful progress in my son and am so appreciative to his therapists for helping to facilitate this. Our speech therapist has helped with my son's IEP and stays in communication with his school SLP. They use evidence-based treatment therapies for his particular diagnosis. The front desk staff is incredible. The office manager has helped with problems we were having with our insurance and would call me daily with updates. Their treatment has been in keeping with the recommendations of my son's developmental pediatrician, and I have never felt they have tried to overtreat him. My only complaint is their scheduling -- they won't hold a recurring time slot anymore, so I have to call regularly to secure an appointment. Yes, it is kind of annoying, but I have gotten used to it.UPDATE: They now offer recurring time slots! We're still very pleased with IvyRehab!

What a gem you have in Physical Therapist Samantha Palicz at your Alexandria Virginia location. She's been working with my 8 year old for several months. She suddenly stopped walking and doctors couldn't find a reason. It was eventually determined to be a pain syndrome not often seen in kids. Sam went above and beyond as we explored this together, sending me resources, communicating with me outside of office visits, working with the doctors to get answers and even appointments where I was unsuccessful. She has taken regular time to adjust schedules to help her stay in school since she is seen so often. Sam also truly has a gift for teaching children. She really connects with my little girl who is so motivated to please her that she puts in great effort during therapy and outside of the clinic. I even have fun there! She has my complete confidence.

We have been with Fleming Therapy for four years as they helped my daughter find and use her voice. They have challenged her while being incredibly patient and supportive. It’s been a journey for everyone and they were there every step of the way.

My 12 yo is high functioning autistic but really gets inflexible after a few weeks of working with someone. Allie has been phenomenal! My daughter doesn’t even know she is working and yet she is doing things she would never have done on her own in a million years no matter how hard we all worked with her in the past. I have found the staff and whole team at Fleming to be very professional and innovative.

My child been receiving services in this center for around a year and a half. I have no complaints. All appointments begin and end on time. Ms. Nicole is the best in occupational therapy. She has done an excellent job on helping my child grasp the pencil correctly, be aware of personal space, hold and manipulate scissors correctly, climb a playground ladder without hesitation, etc. she has not only helped in developing the physical strength she has managed to build the confidence necessary to take on difficult task. Ms. Jenny has helped with pragmatic skills/social thinking. She has helped with my child being flexible in routines, taking turns while talking, reading facial expression and body language, identifying emotions in oneself and in others, etc. Both specialist are excellent at what they do and have been a valuable part of my child’s team.

This place is really great for anyone who wants therapy for stuttering. I wasn't the most severe case that they had seen but they still used effective methods and now I would like to say that the problem is pretty much resolved! They have Great service. Appointments start on time and end on time. I did not experience any wait times or any issues while I was going there. I definitely recommend this place for therapy!
