Ivy Rehab was highly recommended by my doctor, rightly so. I came in with persistent radiating hip and ankle pain from half marathon/marathon training. My physical therapist, Philippe Schafer, put together an effective treatment plan that adapted as my conditioned improved. My hip and ankle are virtually pain free. I am now able to run again; just in time for my upcoming races.Lastly, everyone at Ivy Rehab was professional and cordial, and the facility was well equipped and maintained. Keep up the great work!

Great location , amazing Staff. I came because of my ACL post op surgery , and they have been helping me a lot since the first day, especially Joyce . She is very knowledgeable, attentive, and always gives great advices and confidence in order to feel like the way I was before. Front desk guy is friendly as well as the other Physical Therapists. I have 2 months and a half post op and I can see the positive results already . Definitely the perfect location if you want to feel stronger and confident again after your injury.

I was fortunate to participate in knee replacement physical therapy at the Ivy Rehab Nework in Long Island City, NY. My therapist was Joyce Valerie Co and she is an excellent therapist and the exercises and the other PT modalities were extremely helpful. Plenty of time and attention was also given to me by Joyce to work on the items that needed to be worked on. All the other staff at this location were also very helpful. Would highly recommend Joyce and the staff at this location.

Professional and friendly with the right mindset for positive and forward outcomes. They push you just enough to help you build confidence in restoring your range of motions while keeping your safety in mind.I had a knee fracture that did not need surgery thankfully, but within a couple of months I was walking in some shape or form again.The team at Ivy Rehab will also work with you and take the time to explain your body mechanics to help you better understand how your body functions and which areas to mentally focus on as you work through the exercises to restore your mobility.

My surgery was complicated and my shoulder ended up being tighter than most people post-op. Now I am almost back to full range of motion. I can reach full range passively last week, and that was the first time in 10 years seeing my shoulder at that position. Exciting is an understatement. Shoutout to Joyce. She gave me the toughest but most useful program to my recovery. And she is very nice. The supporting staffs are nice too. I am a veteran here now (almost a year) and I spent my some of my happiest moments in nyc in Ivy rehab and I swear by it.

If I could give Ivy Rehab 10 stars, I would! Sarrah Bottari (clinical director) is amazing: fabulous at her job with a fabulous energy on top. I came in barely able to walk (after knee replacement). With Sarah’s help I am able to do so much more than just walk. The rest of the staff and PTs are very friendly from Jared, Phillipe, Vanessa, and John to Abe, the intern. I would never go anywhere else!

I started going here to alleviate knee pain from patellar-femoral syndrome. I was lucky enough to have Vanessa as my physical therapist and the entire process was excellent. She helped me quickly get accustomed to the exercises my body needed and to build the muscles that would prevent further injuries. After almost 2 months of therapy, I no longer have knee pain and feel more confident in my mobility. Scheduling was always very flexible and I’d highly recommend this facility!

Ivy Rehab in LIC is the best!! I had hip surgery two months ago, and friends/family have mentioned that they can’t tell that I had surgery recently since I’ve been walking like nothing happened. I feel like I get so much out of each session and I always have all of my questions answered and concerns addressed.Sarrah is the absolute best PT and the reason why everything runs so smoothly. She knows her stuff and immediately knows if you’re doing something incorrectly and will help you fix your form. Most of all, you can tell she really cares about each of her patients’ recovery. Just wrapped up a 5 month, post-pectoral tendon surgery rehab here and feeling great. The PT's there are very knowledgable and give you in depth explanations of everything you are doing and how it is benefiting your healing process. They also analyze what you do outside of the studio and send you home with more tips and exercises to make sure you're making progress outside of your sessions, which was greatly appreciated. I worked closely with Sarrah and would highly recommend her to anyone, especially those looking to get back into sports/strength training, as her strength and weight lifting experience was incredibly helpful in getting me back into the weight room.

I started coming to Ivy Rehab after foot surgery and was very lucky to have Vanessa as my PT. The road to recovery after foot surgery is pretty slow and long, but I have enjoyed every single session with Vanessa! From the moment I walk (and sometimes dance) into the PT room I am laughing and feeling at home, and when you spend this much time somewhere that is exactly how you want to feel. The massages and exercises that Vanessa has done and taught me have been instrumental in my recovery, and slowly but surely I am getting my body and my foot back, but in even better condition.At first, I thought that Vanessa checking in with me was for fun, but then I realized that she was also being a great PT. By asking questions about my very active lifestyle she could better understand what I was doing each day and adjust what we worked on.I have recommended others to Ivy Rehab and they have also had positive results! My first time doing any sort of physical therapy, I worked with Vanessa and she was extremely helpful and thorough in her work. I came in with a possible foot stress fracture and halfway into my marathon training. Philippe is amazing in terms of his knowledge and helped me get back to running in weeks. In the first couple of weeks we worked on my soreness and areas which needed work. As we progressed further, we went into strength and mobility exercises. All of this under the careful observation and progression made it a joy to visit. Philippe was very thorough in terms of what was required to get me there. 10/10 highly recommend.

Philippe is amazing and really knows about the neck and spine. This was not my first time going to PT for my neck and he is by far the best PT I've seen. My neck issues were causing me to have debilitating headaches which he was able to address. After my first two weeks seeing him they were gone! He spends time with each patient individually and works his "magic" he seems to know exactly where the tightness is and other areas of concern. He provided me with exercises to do on my own and also showed me some gadgets (theracane & massage balls) to use that help me when I begin to feel the tightness. He knows more than the Dr. I saw at HSS!! I highly recommend Philippe and Ivy Rehab.

Had been dealing with plantar fasciitis for over a year and the pain had become so intense I limped when I walked. When I started physical therapy (PT) with Philippe and learned how to relieve and then manage the pain. I really appreciated the PT and education that has helped almost eliminate the pain -- it's more of an occasional nagging issue now. I now know how to prevent painful flare-ups by strengthening some little muscles and stretching others, plus I've modified my workout routine to still be effective. The front desk was also helpful in dealing with doctor referrals and insurance. The facility is bright and clean, and the environment is actually quite fun. This will be my go-to place if I ever get injured again.

I came to Ivy Rehab after receiving surgery for a torn ACL and couldn’t have had a more positive experience. Dan Bogart, my physical therapist, is an expert with many years of experience and gave me incredible guidance and peace of mind throughout my recovery journey. Every appointment I had with him he asked me how I was doing, what felt good, and what maybe felt off so we could focus on the right area that day. I really appreciated the one on one time and care he provided me with. He was always open to my questions and was very receptive to my feedback so we can make adjustments accordingly. Dan provided me with more guidelines and information than my surgeon did, which allowed me to know when I was on track for recovery and the next milestones to work towards. Outside of Dan, the entire staff at Ivy Rehab LIC is extremely friendly and knowledgable, from Jared at the front desk/administration, to Curtis, who assists Dan with some of my exercises, everyone is so friendly it feels like a big supportive family. I also loved how clean, open, and bright the facility always is. Last but not least, I appreciated that it never got too crowded inside the facility, which speaks to the one on one care they provide here. 11/10 experience - I wouldn’t be anywhere without Dan and the Ivy Rehab Team!

Ran a marathon in the fall and had substantial pain in my hip. Started with Maica who took the time to determine my strengths and weaknesses and prescribe a program. Eventually worked with Nick and Dan who were also great at determining exercises to do on certain days depending on what they were seeing with my progress in certain areas. They were all extremely knowledgable and explained everything throughly to me. After numerous PT sessions over a few months I'm now back running pain free and looking forward to the next marathon. I came here for a lower back injury after I fell down the stairs on Christmas. When I walked in I was in some serious pain and could barely tie my shoes and do basic life activities. My family has had such a wonderful experience at Ivy Rehab. While my mom spent most of last year trying to find a doctor that could help diagnose her knee pain, Maica and the team at Ivy Rehab helped my mom manage her intense knee pain and strengthen her knee so it was more bearable. They also recommended the amazing orthopedist who finally helped my mom figure out what was causing her knee pain. After 8 months, we finally have some answers and my mom's knee pain is mostly gone.
